Chapter 28: The Leaf of Revival

~Kanda~
I was pacing to Komui’s office, as there was a new mission for Trinity and me, as well as Moyashi with his friends. I opened the door and saw Trinity was already there. I sat beside her and she kept looking down. Then, Moyashi came in.

“Excuse me.” Moyashi bowed and looked at me and Trinity.

He gave the look of ‘what is he doing here’. The ‘he’ was me.

“I will go and take my uniform.” Trinity stood up and walked out of the room.

I looked at her and her eyes darkened. What wrong’s with her? I have to ask her later. Back to the briefing of mission.

“Trinity…” Moyashi sighed.

“Do you hate the cold or may be the heat?” Komui asked.

“Neither in particular…” Moyashi answered.

“Is that so? Isn’t that good for you?” Komui replied in a goofy manner.

I shook my head to Moyashi and Komui understood.

“In a certain forest, what we thought was a snowstorm ended up turning into a hot wind, and a string of abnormal weather followed.” Komui explained.

“Abnormal weather…?” Moyashi questioned.

“It’s probably not a phenomenon caused by the Innocence… But just in case, I want you three to investigate, and recover it if possible.” Komui instructed.

“Three…?” Moyashi asked stupidly.

“Including Trinity.” I responded.

“I understand.” Moyashi said.

“With you again…?” I said annoyingly while looking back at him.

Komui was making a peace sign behind me with a goofy smile. I hate this mission. I walked out of the room and went to Trinity’s room. I waited for her and she opened the door.

~Komui~
I was thinking of Trinity had said just now.

“Komui, I am different from the Trinity you have known three years ago.” Trinity said.

“I know… I need you to tell me about the Earl. Trinity, you know that I…” I stammered.

“You are what? Worried about my safety?” She asked sarcastically.

“I… I love you…” I shuttered.

“What, you must be joking…? I don’t believe it… I am sorry, Komui…” Trinity apologized.

“No, it’s ok if you have someone else… However, I want you to know this. I will never allow anything to hurt you not even the Earl.” I responded seriously.

“Komui… I don’t know what to say… Thank you…” Trinity mumbled.

“You're welcome.” I smiled.

Now, come to think of it. It was a miracle that I loved somebody else other than Lenalee. I loved my little sister very much and I loved Trinity too. May be Trinity can really change everything of a person. I lay back in my chair and sighed.

~Trinity~
I wore the earring that Komui gave me. I found something that I have lost again. A part of me… I need to thank Lavi for finding it. I wore my uniform under my long black dress. Since we are going to a very cold place. I left my room and saw Kanda waiting for me outside.

“Let’s go.” Yu said.

I nodded.

Both of us went to the underground passage way. Allen was waiting for both of us there. I boarded the boat first, and then followed by Yu. After that, two other Exorcists appeared. One is an old guy and the other was… Lavi! He still did not change at all.

“We are going there with you three.” Lavi said with a normal smile.

Both of them boarded the boat and sat in front of me. I looked at them.

“What a drag…” I heard Kanda complained.

“Well, besides that comment, nice to meet you, Yu!” Lavi said.

“Don’t call me by my first name!” Kanda responded crossly.

“Well, for what it’s worth, I’m an Exorcist too, so when Akumas appeared, let’s take them down together, okay?” Lavi said while smiling at me.

“Good to be working with you all.” Allen said while going to row the boat.

The old man looked at me and I looked away. Allen started to row the boat and off we go.

“Ah, Trinity. You have not met Bookman before, don’t you? He is the teacher of Lavi. Lavi is one of my friends too.” Allen said.

“Nice to meet you, Trinity.” Bookman said.

“Trinity…?” I heard Lavi mumbling to himself.

“Nice to meet you too.” I answered.

Then, I saw Bookman whispering to Lavi. I listened to it carefully.

“Lavi, I’d like us to confirm the two that Hevlaska predicted as the destroyer and creator of time once with our eyes.” Bookman whispered.

~Lavi~
Is that girl really the Trinity that I have known in the past? I need to know the truth. I need to see if she has the earring or not.

~Trinity~
After long time on the boat, we reached the train station. We boarded the train and found a total empty cabin. I sat beside Yu; Allen sat with Bookman and Lavi. I bet Lavi was doodling on Allen’s face right now. I was thinking about it and laughing silently.

Yu looked at me curiously. I smiled at him. Yu blushed and looked away.

“You can sleep if you want to.” I said to him.

“What about you?” Yu asked.

“I will be fine. Do you want me to take care of your Mugen?” I asked.

Yu passed it to me and slept. I smiled at him and kissed his cheek softly. I loved the way he sleeps. It was so adorable. Then, Lavi came.

“Trinity, do you mind move to that side?” He said with a smile.

“Why?” I asked strangely.

“I tell you later.” Lavi snickered.

I moved and Lavi sat beside Yu. I saw Lavi was tying Yu’s hair into a braid. Yu woke up suddenly, and he had a vein on his forehead. I was thinking that Lavi is going to be dead. I gave Mugen to Yu and Lavi was laughing in a scared tone.

“You’re awake… Allen fell asleep, so… His face looks really funny now; do you wTrinity see it?” Lavi said shakily.

Yu pulled out his Mugen and a few quick moves; it scared the wits out of Lavi. Lavi was standing in a strange position. I stood there and watched them.

“You don’t have to be so mad!” Lavi exclaimed.

“Yu… Please don’t fight in the train. We are arriving soon and Lavi, let Yu rest for a while.” I placed a hand on my hip.

“Aww… Trinity, but I am bored…” Lavi said like a baby.

“Please go now, Lavi…” I heaved a sigh.

“Then, can I talk to you?” Lavi’s eyes beamed.

“Me…? Alright, if you promise me not to bother with Yu.” I said.

“I will! I will!” Lavi said happily and walked to an empty seat.

“Trinity, you know that he will talk for hours non-stop, are you sure?” Yu asked with concern.

“Yeah, you need your rest. You have been working very hard these days, so conserve your energy for later.” I smiled and kissed his cheek.

Yu blushed and placed his hand on his cheek. I walked towards Lavi and sat down with him. Lavi was chattering away and I was daydreaming. I wondered why Lavi did not recognize me. I know that I am wearing a mask but my name… Never mind… I did not want him to remember anyway.

After a few hours, we reached the destination. All of us alighted at the train station and the blizzard there was so hideous. The wind was blowing and I could see anything around me within two or three miles. I covered my head with my hood. A Finder was already waiting for us at the train station. Allen walked to him.

“Good to work with you. I’m Michael.” The Finder bowed.

The wind kept blowing and Timcanpy could not hold on anymore. It was blown away.

“Timcanpy!” Allen called anxiously.

I caught Timcanpy in time and passed it to Allen.

“Are you alright? Thanks Trinity.” He responded.

I nodded. I felt something strange up in the snowy mountain. What could it be? I did not feel this before. It felt like a human, but it was still strange. I could feel Innocence around here. This made me think of Akumas. If Akumas are here, that means Innocence is here too.

I shook off the feeling and walked into the station. Michael went in and Lavi and Bookman were standing there.

“The weather is pretty awful. It looked like we have no choice but to wait until the snowstorm blows over.” Lavi said.

“There is no way that we can know when the blizzard is going to stop…” Michael said with a sigh.

I did not saw Yu here. I went outside again and saw him was going off alone. Allen was still outside.

“Are you going now?” Allen called out to Yu.

“Of course. That’s why we are here, right? What were you planning on doing here, wasting your time?” Yu said.

“I am going with you.” I said to Yu and rushed to him.

“Trinity, you’re going too? But…” Allen paused.

“You can stay here and make snowmen with them, Moyashi.” Yu said in his normal tone.

“Beside, you don’t have to worry about us.” I responded.

“Let’s go.” I heard Allen called out.

Michael, Bookman and Lavi, Allen followed both of us. Yu walked at the front and I walked beside him. We walked into an open field of snow and the blizzard was getting worse every minute. I could not see anything at all. All of us were out of breath. Lavi fell down on his knees and panting heavily.

“I’m picturing us dead, in the middle of this mountain…” He said breathlessly.

I stopped as I saw something was lying in the snow. Yu and Allen stopped too. It was two bodies lying in the snow. Allen walked towards one of them and Lavi too. It was a mid-forties man and a young girl.

“Are you okay?” Allen asked the man.

“Hey, get a hold of yourself!” Lavi said while holding the girl in his arms.

I heard that they were making sounds. They were moving a bit.

“Can you move?” Allen asked with concern.

“Dad, where are you?” I heard the girl asked weakly.

“It’s seemed that he is alright.” Allen responded.

“It is best if we carry you home…” Bookman said.

“No, there is an inn nearby…” The girl responded dimly.

“So, we will bring you to the inn.” Allen suggested.

“I’m going to keep going.” Yu said emotionlessly.

“I will go with Kanda. At least you won’t worry about us.” I said.

“Trinity, I don’t you to tag along with me. We’re not here to get along and learn to cooperate, right?” Kanda responded coldly while walking away.

“But…” Allen paused.

“Yu…” I said sadly, loud enough for him to hear and he looked back.

“I don’t want you to get hurt…” Yu answered.

“Allen, after we take these two, we will continue investigate.” Lavi suggested.

“Well then, I’ll head along with Kanda.” Michael said.

“Good luck, Michael.” Allen said.

“Yu… Be careful…” I whispered and he nodded.

Yu and Michael disappeared into the unseen world of the blizzard. I helped Allen to carry the man to the inn and Lavi was carrying the girl. Bookman followed behind. After a few miles of walking, we reached the inn. We called a room and laid both the girl and the man on bed. The girl called Elda and her father named Fray.

“I’m really sorry…” The Elda said in remorse.

“Please take your time and rest well.” Allen said.

Bookman was treating Fray with Chinese treating methods with needles.

“Luckily, he doesn’t seem to have frost bite.” Bookman responded.

Just in time, Lavi came into the room with some food and some hot water for them. He placed on the table.

“The old lady here made this and asked me to bring it in.” Lavi said.

“Thank you very much. Dad, let’s eat.” The Elda said.

I walked out of the room and went to the fireplace. I shared my room with Lavi and Allen.

“Well, the three of us will be in the next room, so if you need anything, let us know.” Allen said while closing the door.

Allen and Lavi walked down the stairs and I was sitting on the bench for some warmth. The old lady gave me a bowl of hot soup. Bookman sat beside me. Allen and Lavi sat down at the table. The old lady was adding firewood into the fire. Timcanpy rest on table and I just stared at the soup. I have no appetite to eat at all. I was worrying about Yu.

“I wondered where those two were going in the middle of the snowstorm.” Allen started.

“There were going to look for it. They’ve said it’s been around here for a long time… The Leaf of Revival.” The old lady said.

“Leaf of Revival?” Allen said curiously.

“The Leaf of Revival is a mysterious leaf mentioned in Norse mythology. They say it was discovered by the great hero Sigmund. Ones that did not die of natural causes, were killed by someone or something or something happened to them, the life they lost is able to be revived with this leaf.” Bookman explained.

“Once in a while, someone comes along looking for that leaf. Every time one of them comes. The weather gets bad. It’s quite a problem.” The old lady said while keeping the bowls and utensils.

“I am going to bed.” I said while stood up and went to my room.

~Allen~
“What’s wrong with Trinity?” Lavi asked.

“I think she is worried about Kanda.” I answered.

“Worried about Kanda? There is no need to worry about him!” Lavi laughed.

“You don’t understand. You flirtiest idiot!” Bookman scolded Lavi.

“What!? Yu is strong; there is no need for Trinity to worry.” Lavi retorted.

“Trinity is the girl just now, right?” The old lady asked.

“Yeah, why?” Allen asked.

“Even though she is wearing a mask, I know that she is worrying about someone.” She responded.

“How do you know?” Lavi asked.

“Because she did not even touch her soup and she seemed anxious to go out. She kept looking out of the windows just now too.” She answered with a smile and went to wash the dishes.

“Trinity was really worrying about Kanda…” Lavi said in a soft tone.

“Let’s go to sleep. We will continue the investigation tomorrow.” Bookman said and went up to his room.

Lavi and I went up too and slept.

~Trinity~
I lay on the bed, thinking about Yu. I was really worried about him. He said that he did not want me to get hurt… That idiot… There is no need to care for me… I just want to be with him. I cried silently and cried myself to sleep.

Morning came. I sat up and got off of my bed. I looked of the window. The storm had stopped. I was thinking about Yu again. Why am I kept thinking about him? I know that I love him, and I am a bit of obsessed of him. Being with him, I felt completed, even though I hate his attitude. I just could not bear being left out.

He was the second person that accepts my existence. I placed my hand on the window pane, thinking about him… I snapped out of it and dressed. I left my room and paced to the table. I saw Allen and the rest were already there. I skipped my breakfast and went outside.

“Trinity…” I heard Allen called, but I ignored it.

I waited outside and the others came out soon after.

“It cleared up.” Allen started.

“Yeah.” Lavi agreed.

Then, a hot breeze started to blow. It could even melt the snow on the roof. The snow almost hit Lavi. I did not see Bookman around.

“Where’s Bookman?” Allen asked.

“He’s resting in the inn. It seemed all these climate changes have been hard on him. He is an old man, after all.” Lavi answered.

“Can we go now?” I asked annoyingly and walked away.

“Trinity! Wait up!” I heard Allen called.

“Allen! Trinity! You guys can’t leave me alone here!” Lavi screamed.

“Trinity, do you know where we suppose to go?” Lavi asked since he caught up.

“To where the wind is blowing from. If what is causing this abnormal weather is Innocence, the origin is very likely to be in that way.” I answered in monotone and pointed to the direction.

I stopped and turned around. Elda walked out of the inn. Lavi and Allen went to her and I just stood there. I hesitated for a moment, but decided to go along with them. I leaned against the wall and crossed my arms.

“Good morning. I apologize for the trouble yesterday.” Elda said.

“Are you going out again? You better rest a while more…” Allen said worriedly.

“We won’t let you snatch the Leaf of Revival from under our noses!” I heard Fray’s voice said in anger.

“No, we’re just…” Allen paused.

“Go and get ready, Elda.” Fray said to his daughter.

Elda took the snowboards and placed on the snow. Then, both she and Fray went off.

“Isn’t that nice?” Lavi said in an annoyed tone.

“Allen, Lavi, take these.” I handed snowboards to them.

“What are these for?” Allen asked.

“Follow them, if it is really the Innocence, there should be Akumas around here.” I said in monotone voice.

“You’re right. Let’s do it!” Lavi shouted happily.

I started to slide away on my board. At least I know how to balance myself. Allen was struggling to keep himself balance. Lavi was doing fine. We could cool off as the hot wind was kept blowing. All of us followed Elda and Fray. We saw them stopped. Allen was screaming like a girl and he landed in the snow with his face. He traveled towards them under the snow.

The snow on top of him was flying everywhere. It was a boom and Allen came out of the snow. The board just slide to his bottom. Lavi and I stopped right beside Allen. Timcanpy landed on the board.

“Are you okay?” Lavi asked.

“Sorry…” Allen apologized and Timcanpy rest on his head as he rose from the snow.

“Are you unhurt?” Elda asked with concern.

“Yes…” Allen answered slowly.

“That’s good…” Elda said with relieved.

Lavi helped Allen up.

“Um… This forest is one even the townspeople don’t set foot in. I’m not sure what is dangerous, but… You should go back.” Allen suggested.

“So you can take it all for yourself?” Fray said with his voice a little louder.

“The Leaf of Revival is not the thing that you want. There is no way that you can get close to it.” I said emotionlessly.

“You will never understand… Let’s go, Elda.” Fray said while walking away.

“What Trinity said is right. What are we searching for is not the Leaf of Revival. I can’t say the reason, but it is something else. We are Exorcists which Clergymen specializing in Akuma extermination.” Allen said while tying the snowboard tighter to his foot.

“Exorcists?” Elda gasped.

“Akuma, eh? There’s no way those things exist…” Fray said in a disbelieving form.

“If the Leaf of Revival exists, why can’t the Akumas…?” Lavi asked.

“At any rate, you’re better off to stop. If you revive the dead, you will surely live to regret it. If you wish for something like that, there are those that will take advantage of what you wish.” Allen said deeply.

“What do you know!?” Fray yelled angrily.

“Stop it, Dad!” Elda stopped her father.

“Let’s go, Trinity, Lavi.” Allen said.

The three of us went into the forest and left Elda and Fray behind. When we were leaving in a cool manner, Allen knocked his head on to tree branch. I heaved a sigh. Lavi smiled at me. I gazed up at the sky and it was getting darker every minute. The blizzard was starting to brew.

“The hot wind became a snowstorm…” Allen said.

“Oh man…” Lavi said with his arm covering his mouth.

“I wonder if Kanda is all right.” Allen responded in concern.

I felt depressed the moment I heard Yu’s name. I was worrying about him. I need to get to him fast.

“Rather than Yu, I’d probably worried about the Finder with him.” Lavi said.

“They are following us.” Allen said while pointing to the direction that we came from.

“Shall we take a break? If we keep going, we’ll be burdened with those two, and we’ll have to end up going back to the inn. ” I said while looking back at Allen and Lavi.

“Yeah, we should.” Lavi nodded.

We dug a huge hole on the ground which is big enough for five. I started fire and all of us sat around it. Elda and Fray came along and sat with us. Elda poured some hot beverage for us.

“Thank you so much.” Allen accepted the drink.

“You seemed to be well prepared.” Lavi was impressed.

“Dad’s always doing his best on his own, so I need to do something like this in order to support him. Here, Dad, drink some.” Elda gave him a cup and he accepted it.

“Why are we stuck with these three?” He said in an annoyed tone.

“The one doing the following was you.” Allen responded with a hint of anger.

“Dad, why don’t you sleep a bit? Until the snowstorm is over, okay?” Elda said while covering her father with a blanket.

“Like I said, she is well prepared. If we ended up in a situation we needed it, we’d have to embrace each other to keep warm!” Lavi said with a smile.

Allen gave a disgusting look to Lavi and Lavi smiled goofily to Allen and me. I glanced at Fray and he was asleep. I looked at Elda and she was asleep too. I leaped out of the hole silently and Allen and Lavi followed. The air around us was starting to get hotter and hotter.

“Allen, Lavi… There is something wrong with the atmosphere here.” I said.

“Yeah, I did not know what happened over there, but we have to find out.” Lavi said.

We heard Elda woke up and Allen and Lavi turning back.

“Please go on ahead. We will make it somehow. I’m sorry that my father always does such rude things…” Elda said in a pleading voice.

“No…” Allen said in a soft tone.

“I don’t think there’s such thing as Leaf of Revival. But, I thought that it was good that my father was interested in something again… Ever since my little brother died, my father has been mourning his death…” Elda bowed.

“So what Trinity had said is correct. The one that you want to revive is your little brother?” Allen responded.

“Our house burnt down in a fire… The four of us lived together, but my little brother’s legs had been bad, ever since he was born… My father was trying to save my brother, but I stopped him. My brother wanted to save us from the fire. He told us to run and left him there. After our mother passed out, and my father wouldn’t look at me. I really regret what happened then, that’s why I won’t stop my father anymore.

I’ll let my father do what he wants to. They said that the great hero Sigmund let his son died of something trivial. But, he placed the Leaf of Revival on his son’s corpse, and he revived.” Elda said sadly.

“Let’s go, Elda.” We heard Fray’s voice.

“Yes, Dad.” Elda nodded.

All of us slide to where we are going to in the beginning and the day was darkening. I heard some voices in the deep forest. I stopped and sensed the surrounding.

“Trinity, what’s wrong?” Allen asked.

I placed my finger on my lips to ask them to keep quiet. I closed my eyes and sensed something was really wrong here. I could feel the presence of Akumas.

“Allen, Lavi, there are Akumas around here. Be careful.” I whispered loud enough for them to hear.

“Alright.” Allen nodded.

“Trinity, you could sense Akumas?” Lavi asked curiously.

Then, we saw three people in the shadows of the forest. Allen was stunned to see humans here.

“What is it?” Fray stopped.

“We seemed to have lost our way…” A beautiful lady with light purple hair and in lavender clothes said.

“Is it okay if we travel with you?” A short and potty man with an orange hat said.

“What a relief! I was just wondering what we can do in this place!” The lady said.

“We seemed to have lost our way in the darkness.” A tall man in green clothes said.

“Exactly, if you wouldn’t mind taking us to the road, that’d be good enough. Sorry to bother you.” The short man scratched his head.

I changed my Lunar Deluder into a gun. I pointed at them.

“Don’t you dare move a step towards us.” I said in a murderous voice.

“You are all Akumas, aren’t you?” Allen started.

“I’m really glad that eye of yours healed. It is really handy.” Lavi said.

“You’ve got us; there is nothing we can do.” The lady said.

The three of them turned into Akumas in a way of disgust. The lady was turned into a female serpent with holes all over her body, and a snow flake at the tip of her tail. The tall man in green clothing turned into a form of metallic raptor. The short and potty man turned into a tank with a skull head, with barrels on its back and retractable ones in its eye, with a party hat on its head.

“What is that…?” Fray was stunned.

I moved in front of Elda and Fray.

“Duck!” Allen shouted.

“If you know where the Innocence is, tell us!” The metallic raptor called.

“You think we’d tell you? We wouldn’t even tell if we did know!” Lavi said mockingly.

“I need you two to get away from here.” I said to Fray and Elda.

“We will. Please be careful.” Elda said.

“We will, don’t worry.” I answered.

“What was that!?” The tank yelled angrily.

The tank started to shoot us with his barrels. It was shooting snow from the barrels. Allen, Lavi and I covered ourselves. I charged forwards and kicked its face. The snow bullet hit Allen. Damned…! I let my guard down and did not protect Allen. I saw Lavi took out a small hammer which was black.

“Hurry! Get out of the way!” Lavi said while making it big and spin to block away the snow bullets.

Elda and Fray slide away. Lavi leaped up and pounded the snow hard. I was starting to shoot at the Akumas.

“Trinity, shoot at the tank one!” Lavi called.

“I know.” I answered.

The snow that Lavi pounded, hit the tank Akuma. Both of us managed to get that one down. One down, two more to go. We have to take down the raptor and the serpent. Lavi descended down to the snow.

“You bastard!” I heard the raptor shouted angrily.

It fired icicles from its mouth and it was shooting at us. I was dodging the icicles. I got to Allen and I shook him and he woke up.

“Allen, we got to help Lavi.” I said softly.

“Yeah, I’m sorry.” He apologized.

I saw the icicles were gaining on us. Lavi pulled Allen and I leaped away. Lavi extended his hammer upwards and he pulled Allen with him. Both of them charged towards them and I followed suit.

“Innocence activates!” Allen and I called in unison.

His left hand was emitting green light and turned into a cannon. He and I shot at the raptor Akuma head on. Lavi and Allen landed safely on the snow. The raptor dropped to the ground in a huge boom along with the tank akuma. The serpent moved in front of them.

“Not bad at all, but what about those two?” The serpent said.

She shot at the snow with ice from the holes on her body and it was causing an avalanche and blizzard. I quickly rushed to Elda and Fray. I shielded them with my shield which was Lunar Deluder.

“Don’t worry; I will protect both of you.” I said.

“Thank you…” Elda said.

“Stop it!” I heard Allen shouted.

I saw Allen aimed his cannon to the serpent and he fired. However, the serpent slid away from the attacks like a snake. I felt that there was something going on underneath the snow. Lavi turned back and saw a hump of snow rising from the ground. It was the tank akuma. It emerged from the snow.

“Allen, behind you!” Lavi yelled.

The tank akuma was shooting crazily. I have to protect Elda and Fray. I turned my right arm into cannon. I quickly shot the tank akuma. I managed to hit it and Lavi was converting his hammer bigger. I shifted my cannon back to my arm.

“Size-shifting Hammer! Grow, grow, and grow!” Lavi summoned while spinning his hammer.

Lavi pounded on the raptor akuma, it blocked it down with just one hand. The raptor akuma was too big in size. I converted my shield, Wind Gleam, into a magical staff, Pentacle Ornament.

I summoned a barrier and protected Elda and Fray. I saw Allen was covered by the snow that was created by the blizzard. I needed to get to him fast. I rushed to him.

“Allen, you got to get a hold of yourself!” I called as I summoned hell fire.

“Trinity… Lavi, take those two and run…” Allen yelled as I was going to be buried alive along with him.

“Flames of Hell!!” I summoned and managed to free Allen and me.

“Are you ok?” I asked Allen anxiously.

“Yeah, I am fine…” He answered tiredly.

I gazed up to the sky and saw Yu.

“Yu!” I yelled gladly.

“Mugen, Coming Apocalypse! Kaichu Ichigen (Hell Insects: First Illusion)!” Yu summoned.

Insects of Hell were summoned and they were charging towards the Akumas. All the insects hit the Akumas head on. Yu descended safely on the snow. The Akumas ran away and I was glad that Yu was able to make it on time.

“Yu appears!” Lavi said happily while Yu kept his sword into his sheath.

“Shut up.” Yu responded in his normal tone.

“Trinity, Allen, you two alright?” Lavi asked.

“Yeah, we are fine. Thanks to Trinity, that is…” Allen blacked out.

“Allen… Allen!” Lavi yelled in dismay.

Chapter 27: The Meeting

I woke up from my sleep. I glanced out the window and the sun luster vibrantly. The morning sun was always so beautiful. I wondered how the party goes. I did not join Allen and Lenalee. Never mind… I do hope that Allen had fun last night. I sat up and looked at the poster that was hanging on my wall.

I never noticed that there was a poster which consists of an angel. It made me thought of Alice. Why did I come here for? Am I fighting for someone or something? I know that I am fighting for the Earl of Millennium. It was not like I want to… It felt like I love to fight him… I placed my hand on my heart and listen to its heartbeat. It was getting louder and louder.

I love to fight… I fell in love with Akumas… I have to fight them… I have somebody to protect now… The person is Yu Kanda… I love him... I sat there for a few minutes of what I want. I meditated for a while. I knew that I have to fight the Earl no matter what. I have to find my father. He should be dead by now.

I have to find the answer to my existence and my curse.

I did my daily routine. I wore my long black dress with straps and there were splits to my thigh with a pair of long black boots. I tied my Lunar Deluder around my right thigh. I wore my mask. I walked out of my room and saw Allen.

“Good morning, Trinity.” Allen said groggily.

“Good morning. Did you have fun from yesterday’s party?’ I asked.

“Yeah, it was great!! You should see what happened when Reever danced!! It was so hilarious!! It was like he has two left foot!!” He exclaimed.

“Really, what about Komui? Did he come and search for me?” I questioned with a hand put under my chin.

“He did. I was surprised that he was able to recover so quickly after getting hit by Lenalee’s Dark Boots.” Allen snickered.

“Really…?” I looked at Allen strangely.

“Why are you looking at me strangely?” Allen said.

“Nothing, I was just thinking about Komui. I need to talk to him.” I replied.

“Actually, Komui wants to talk to you too.” He responded.

“Okay.” I nodded.

“I will accompany you there.” Allen said.

“Suit yourself.” I responded plainly.

Allen accompanied me to meet Komui. I was kind of nervous that this would be the first time that I talk to Komui. We arrived at Komui’s office. It was still as messy as ever. I told Allen to go to eat his breakfast without me. He understood and walked to the cafeteria.

“Hi, Trinity.” Komui smiled.

“Hn.” I sat down with my arms crossed.

“So, what brings you here?” He said while stopping his work.

“I want to talk to you.” I responded.

“Here, this is for you.” Komui said while giving the box.

I glanced at it and took it. I opened it and my eyes went watery. I took out of the box and it was a silver cross earring that was given by my mother. I lost it on the way to my relatives’ house.

“Lavi found it. He wants me to pass it to you when you come back to the Black Order again.” Komui smiled.

“Lavi found it…? How would he know that I will come back here?” I asked confusedly.

“I told him that you will come here someday as Hevlaska predicted that a girl who had a pair of clear but beautiful eyes will come back to the Order. I thought that the girl must be you as you have a pair of unusual eyes.” Komui smiled again.

“Lavi did not forget about me at all…” I whispered to myself.

“Here, I want to give you this.” Komui said while giving me a rose.

“Huh? What do you want to give me this for?” I questioned confusedly.

“A present from me.” He said.

“Umm… Alright…” I accepted it.

Chapter 26: The Night

Then, everybody was starting to dance as soon as the music started. I saw that Trinity was walking out of the cafeteria. I smiled. I thought that maybe she needs time alone. Nobody said such things to her anymore. She must be very happy.

“Timcanpy, Trinity is kind of happy. Even if the mask is covering her face and eyes. We could still tell that she is happy.” I said and Timcanpy nodded.

“Huh, where did Trinity go?” Komui popped out of a sudden.

“Ah!! You scared me, Komui.” I responded in shock.

“Big brother, you are here!” Lenalee said in surprised.

“Yeah…”He said sadly while looking around for Trinity.

“What’s wrong?” Lenalee questioned.

“Huh, nothing.” Komui answered.

“Here, brother, your cup.” Lenalee said while giving to her brother.

Then, Lenalee went away. Komui turned to me and stared at me with evil eyes.

“Did you see Trinity?” He asked.

“Yeah… She went outside…” I stammered.

“Where did she go?” He questioned again.

“I don’t know. She just walked out of the cafeteria.” I regained my posture.

“I see… I think she just don’t want to see me…” Komui responded sadly.

“Don’t worry; I think she had changed a bit since she came here.” I patted on Komui’s back.

“Maybe…” Komui mumbled.

~Trinity~
I walked out of the cafeteria and outside of the Black Order. I stood at the gate and gazed to the silvery moon.

“Hey Trinity, don’t you want to celebrate your welcoming party?” The gate keeper asked.

“No, I don’t feel like it…” I said sadly.

“Why is it so? Everybody was happy about you and that brat, Allen.” He said.

“I know… However, I think it is a… A waste of time on me…” I responded depressingly.

“Well, suit yourself, Trinity.” The gate keeper said.

I sat at the edge of the cliff and kept gazing at the moon. Mother, I have done it… I lived and stayed here. I met friends like Allen, Lenalee and Kanda. Kanda… I missed him… Without him by my side, I felt so empty and lonely. I wondered what he is doing right now.

I felt the light breeze coming to me. It was so soothing and calm. There was nothing to worry about anymore. How I wish this is my life in the past. My back was facing the gate keeper. I removed my mask. The breeze calmed my face. Parts of my face were cold as I was crying along the way.

I found myself that I did not hate Komui that much anymore. May be it was because of Lenalee and Allen. Nobody had ever said those words to me anymore. ‘Welcome back, Trinity’ was the words that everybody said to me. I felt blissful for that. I was starting to daydream again.

I felt so calm and peaceful outside here. There were still golems flying around the tower, but there was no worry as nobody was watching. I really wish that Kanda can be here with me. My tears started to flow as I thought of Kanda. He was the only one that understands me.

The breeze was like a melody to my ears. A very soothing and gentle melody and it made me think of Lala and Guzol. Both of them had died, but they loved each other very much. I used my magic and made a red rose and a beautiful blue butterfly. The butterfly took the rose and flew away.

“Rest in peace… Lala and Guzol… May your spirits live happily in heaven.” I said with sincerely.

“I never thought that you will still remember them.” I heard Kanda’s voice.

“Something is worth of remember, then remember it.” I responded.

“Why are you not at your welcoming party?” He asked while sitting beside me with one leg to support his hand.

“I need to be in a quiet place.” I answered.

“I see… So, Komui did not bother you?” Kanda questioned.

“Not really… I don’t really hate him anymore.” I responded.

“Really… You changed pretty quickly.” Kanda responded.

“I just noticed it too…” I said.

“Trinity, I’m sorry. I did not go to your welcoming party.” He apologized.

“It’s ok, I won’t be there anyway.” I smiled at him.

Kanda remained silent and I just kept gazing up the moon. Kanda would look at me sometimes and looked away again. I smiled and he beamed a tiny smile to me. Kanda moved more closely to me. I was tired and was yawning.

“You can lie on my shoulder, if you want to.” Kanda said.

“Thanks, Yu.” I said while lying on his shoulder.

“No problem. Trinity, can you be with me like this?” Kanda mumbled.

“I will, Yu…” I responded and dozed off.

~Kanda~
Trinity was sleeping soundly. She is beautiful and I wish that we can stay this way forever. I did not want anyone to harm her. I wrapped my arm around her waist. I kissed Trinity’s head and removed some of her fringes away. I was truly in love with her. I wanted her to be with me forever. I have not confessed to her yet. I love her.

“Kanda… I thought I will never see the soft side of you.” I heard Gate Keeper said.

“Shut up! Don’t tell anybody about it, otherwise I will kill you.” I answered crossly.

“I won’t… I know your temper. I have seen so many Exorcists, but there was none that is like Trinity. I think she is special.” He responded.

I remained silent and I agreed with the gate keeper. Trinity was special, very special. I carried her in bridal style to her room and avoided the cafeteria. I opened the door and placed Trinitron her bed. I removed her mask and kissed her lips. I took the blanket and covered her. I paced to the door and glanced back to Trinity one last time. I closed the door and walked to my room.

Then, I saw Komui walking up the stairs.

“Kanda, did you see Trinity?” Komui asked.

“No.” I answered simply.

“Really…? I was hoping to give her this.” He responded sadly while showed me a box.

“This is for her?” I asked.

“Um… Kind of…” Komui answered while having a tint of red on his face.

“Just leave her alone…” I said annoyingly while walking back to my room.

“Why? Did you just talk to her?” Komui asked with a hint of anger.

“I did and she said that she did not hate you as much as in the past. Are you happy?” I responded and slammed my door.

~Komui~
Kanda said that Trinity did not hate me as much as before anymore. I was in high spirits and was jumping up and down. Cheering and shouting happily that Trinity did not hate me as much as before. Trinity… My beloved Trinity…

I went to her room. I wanted to knock but she may be asleep now. I will talk to her tomorrow.

Chapter 25: The Destruction of the Black Order (Part 2)

~Reever~
“Lenalee, Allen is in the body of Komurin. Go and save him!!” I shouted.

The platform was tilting very badly. Komurin jumped and held on to the cannon. Kanda leaped off of the platform and landed on the fifth floor of home. I turned and looked back. Lenalee was soaring in air. She was hitting the robot head on.

“Destroy Komurin!! Lenalee, go for it!!” The members of the Science Department chanted.

“Capture Lenalee is the maximum priority.” Komurin said.

“Lenalee, stop demolishes your brother’s invention!!” I heard Komui cried out.

For god’s sake, I wish that Lenalee would just annihilate the robot. Then, Lenalee landed on Komurin’s head hard and she kicked the glass eye of Komurin. That robot shot lasers at Lenalee but it missed.

“There is no way to catch Lenalee when she had activated her Innocence. Lenalee can fly like butterfly, but she stings like a bee. That is her Innocence, Dark Boots.” I said to no one in particular.

Out of blue, Lenalee kicked Komurin’s head hard. I managed to open the surgery door and found Allen inside. He was covered with bandages. Komurin was missing a part and that thanks to Lenalee. The remaining part was still holding on to the cannon. Lenalee crashed it to the bottom floor and help me to look for Allen.

“Are you alright, Allen?” I asked while pulling him out of the robot.

“Allen, are you ok?” Lenalee asked.

“I am fine.” Allen said while removing the bandages.

“Phew… I thought I am going to lose two of my important friends.” I said with relieve.

“Where is Trinity?” Allen questioned worriedly.

“She is fine. Kanda saved her.” I responded.

“That’s good…” Allen was relieved.

~Trinity~
I was starting to wake up. I opened my eyes slowly and saw Kanda. He looked at me and helped me to sit up.

“Kanda, where is the robot?” I asked groggily.

“Over there.” Kanda pointed to the bottom floor.

“It was destroyed by Lenalee.” I said plainly.

Kanda carried me to where Allen is and placed me down.

“Are you ok, Moyashi?” I asked.

“Yeah, how about you?” Allen asked with concern.

“I am fine, I was saved by Kanda. If it wasn’t for him, I would be drop dead.” I responded.

“Thanks Kanda, for saving Trinity.” Allen said.

“Hn.” Kanda nodded.

“What about the robot?” Allen asked.

“Well, for that robot’s sake…” Reever started.

“Komurin 2 is just a piece of trash!! We should destroy it!! Another pointless piece of junk!!” The members chanted while kicking and throwing stones at it.

I saw that Komui was standing in front of the robot and trying to defend it. I really wish to kill him now. That idiot still did not understand what he had done.

“Komurin isn’t evil!! Stop throwing stones at him!! The evil here is the coffee that Komurin drank!! Don’t hate the game; hate the players for not playing well in the game!! Please hate the coffee and not Komurin.” Komui cried out loud.

“Brother.” I heard Lenalee called and she was standing right beside him.

“Lenalee, please stop everyone from razing down Komurin!” Komui pleaded.

“Why don’t you go and meditate for a while? To think about what you have done wrong.” Lenalee said plainly.

Lenalee kicked her brother and the robot down to the much lower floor. All of us can hear the screams of Komui dropping down. Then a loud sound of crash came.

“Sorry, Allen, Trinity about what had happen.” Reever said.

“It’s ok… Don’t worry about it.” Allen responded.

“I bet this happen all the time…” I said.

“Our Supervisor is the way he is, but, it is no lie that Komurin 2 was created to treat injured Exorcists. Even though it is a bit messed up…” Reever explained while pointing to Komui.

“I understand, at least, I am glad that everybody is alright.” Allen said in a relieved tone.

“Yeah… At least nobody get hurt from this.” I rejoined.

“So, will you two come with me after this?” Lenalee asked.

“Huh, where to?” Allen asked.

“What about Kanda?” I asked.

“Oh, he can come with you, if he wants to.” Lenalee said.

“I won’t be going.” Kanda said.

“Alright…” I said with a hint of sadness.

Lenalee smiled and walked the way towards the cafeteria. Allen and I followed her. I was looking back if Kanda will be coming or not. May be he was very tired and just came back from a mission. We reached the cafeteria and saw a huge banner that says ‘Welcome Allen Walker and Trinity Lock’. Everybody was having a feast and there were a lot of food on the tables.

“Look, this is for the both of you.” Lenalee said while pointing it.

“For us, what for?” Allen asked.

“You don’t know. This is your welcoming party.” Reever said while holding a glass of wine.

“I worked all night for you two in secret.” Jeryy, the master chef said.

“I was practically sweating buckets when you two were going to discover it this morning. Here, this is your cup, Allen and this is your cup, Trinity.” Lenalee said with a smile while giving us cups.

“It may be a little late for this, but welcome back, Allen and Trinity.” Reever said while raising his glass to cheers.

“Welcome Back, Allen, Trinity.” Everybody raised their glasses.

Allen and I looked around. Both of us were surprised. It made me think of my mother. When I was little, I went for a vigorous test of my clan. I came back and my mother said, ‘Welcome Back, Trinity.’ My eyes were swirling with tears.

~Allen~
Trinity and I were stunned by the actions of our friends. It made me think of Mana. He said the same thing to me, ‘Welcome back, Allen.’ I thought that Trinity must be feeling the same way too. My eyes were full of tears.

“I’m back…” I said softly.

“I’m back too…” Trinity said with a hint of happiness.

Chapter 24: The Destruction Affairs of the Black Order

“Good morning, Trinity.” Allen said with sweats running down his head and he stared at me dreamily.

“Good morning, Allen and you, Timcanpy.” I said while Timcanpy flew to me and rest on my shoulder.

“Let me change first, and then I will join you for breakfast.” He stammered.

“I’ll wait for you outside here.” I said.

~Allen~
My heart was pounding so hard. Trinity was beautiful, wearing a kimono. I have never seen her wear like this before. I quickly changed and came out. I smiled at Trinity and walked together to the cafeteria. Then, both of us heard a rumbling sound. Both of us looked around and saw Kanda walking to his room.

~Trinity~
“Kanda, what was that noise?” Allen asked.

“How should I know? And don’t talk to me, Moyashi…” Kanda said coldly.

“What if something bad happen…?” Allen said while looking around.

“You’re awfully noisy for this early in the morning.” Kanda said annoyingly.

“Good morning, Kanda.” I said while tilting my head to the side.

“Good morning, Trinity.” Kanda said with a less annoyed tone and walked away.

“Sorry, his mission did not went well, that’s explained his bad mood.” I heard Lenalee said.

“But, he changed the moment he talked to Trinity.” Allen said strangely.

“May be Kanda likes Trinity more than you?” Lenalee smiled.

Allen turned and looked at me and I glared at him. He looked away and faced Lenalee. Lenalee was carrying a tray of coffee.

“I will follow you to the cafeteria and Trinity is going too.” Allen volunteered.

“No, you can’t!! They are cleaning up the kitchen and it was quite messy.” Lenalee said in a nervous tone.

“Then, Trinity and I will help to clean up.” Allen suggested.

“It’s ok, we can manage ourselves and can you help me to pass these coffees to my brother and the others?” Lenalee asked.

“Yeah, do you want to come, Trinity?” Allen asked.

“… Sure…” I reluctantly agreed.

“Then, let’s go.” Lenalee handed me some coffee.

All of us walked to the Science Department and saw Komui and the rest. Komui looked at me and I looked away. Allen nudged at me and I just ignored it. Lenalee gave her brother and others coffee. There was a huge and ridiculous tough looking robot behind Komui.

“Big brother, here yours coffee.” Lenalee handed to Komui.

“Hey Trinity and Allen, you two came down too.” Johnny said.

“Yeah, both of them are helping me to bring down your coffee.” Lenalee explained.

“Thanks for it, Trinity.” Johnny said.

I nodded and saw the robot took Komui’s cup which was blue with a funny picture of a pink rabbit and drank all of it. I was thinking could a robot drink coffee.

“Huh, does Komurin drink coffee? Allen asked.

“How can he drink coffee? No matter how similar he is as me, he is still a robot. To think that a robot could drink coffee, where did you get this idea, Allen?” Komui answered while looking at Komurin.

“He is drinking all of it…” Allen said.

Then, suddenly it burped and it went hay wiring. Everyone was stunned. Even Komui was surprised. I was just standing there looking at them. Their looks were so funny that I have to laugh silently.

Komurin started, “My name is Komurin… I make Exorcists stronger…”

“Good job, Komurin. That is the way!” Komui smiled in a goofy way.

“But, Supervisor, don’t you think that it is acting a bit strange? He drank your coffee and started to go hay wiring.” Reever said.

I heard Komurin was having hiccups. I looked at it strangely and it was looking at Lenalee.

“Strange, you said that he is strange!? Komurin is perfect in every way. I am the one who made him!!” Komui retorted to Reever.

“Oh, Brother… Why did you make this robot again?” Lenalee heaved a sigh.

Then, I heard Komurin started to talk again.

“I will perform surgery on this woman to make her macho.” Komurin said.

“Huh, what, macho?” Lenalee said in surprised.

“What, Making Lenalee macho!!?” Everybody shouted and Komui cried out loud.

“No!! I can’t imagine that!! Stop, don’t do it!!!” Komui cried out very loud.

“No. I will make her stronger by making her macho. I will make her stronger and stronger.” Komurin said while approaching to Lenalee.

“Run, Lenalee, run now!!” Komui instructed anxiously.

“The time is now. I shall perform the surgery now. The goal is to make her stronger.” Komurin rejoined.

Lenalee was trying to run, but she was caught by Komurin. I placed the coffees on the table. Allen was just standing too. Johnny was shaking him vigorously.

“I think I am going to be sick!!” Johnny shouted.

“Somehow, I felt excited…” One of the scientists said.

“Does this seemed to be the appropriate time to say this!?” Reever shouted angrily.

“I know!! Somebody, stop Komurin!!” Komui yelled apprehensively.

“Jeez… Then, why did you invent this robot?” Reever complained while searching for something.

He took out a gun which I thought it is a laser gun and it can be carried like a bag.

“Supervisor, where is the main circuit located?” Reever asked while charging the power.

“Uh… There... That is unacceptable!! You can’t use that to stop him!! I won’t forgive you if you destroyed Komurin 2!! I made him with my love, tears and sweat!!” Komui yelled.

“So, you don’t care about what happens to Lenalee? Reever said plainly.

“I can’t accept that too!! I don’t want Lenalee to be become macho!!” Komui yelled again.

“So, what do you suggest?” Reever questioned.

“Brother, hurry and get me down now!!” Lenalee shouted.

“My treasured Lenalee, my Lenalee!!” Komui yelled.

I saw Komurin winked. That was disgusting. My hairs were standing up and Allen was still standing there stupidly.

“But, I treasured Komurin too, but I treasured Lenalee too!! What am I supposed to do!?” Komui shouted and he was suffering from his dilemma.

“Moyashi, I want you to run now.” I said silently.

“What, why, and what about you?” Allen asked.

“Just run as far as you can or do you want to be the target for that robot?” I said plainly.

“Allen Walker and Trinity Lock… You two are here, right? Komurin, good news!! It is seemed that Allen’s anti-akuma weapon is bothering him and Trinity wants to be strong!!” Komui said with an evil grin.

“What did you say, Komui!?” I barked angrily.

“Oh boy…” Reever sighed.

“We have to run, Allen!!” I said while running away.

Komurin locked on both of us.

“Priority change, I will be putting Allen Walker and Trinity Lock for the surgery as the maximum priority.” Komurin said.

Komurin sprayed some gas and that let Lenalee to be asleep. Komurin placed her down. 65 was a balloon like ghost and checking on Lenalee’s pulse.

“Lenalee is going to be fine.” 65 said.

“I don’t think that is the problem. It should be us to be worried.” Allen said sarcastically.

“Continuing, I shall capture Allen Walker and Trinity Lock.” Komurin said while locking on to us.

“Allen and Trinity, run!!” Reever shouted.

“We know that!!” I shouted.

“But where !!?” Allen asked.

“Anywhere, just run as far as you can!!” Reever instructed.

“Got it, come on Allen!!” I said while running away first.

“Yeah!!” Allen nodded.

Both of us ran under the body of Komurin and ran towards the big hole that was blasted by Komurin. We were running around the home like crazy. How are we supposed to run away from another invention of Komui?

Then, in front of us, appeared another robot.

“Another weird thing again, why must this happen to us!?” Allen stopped and said.

“I am getting tired of this…” I said plainly.

“It is looked a weird cleaning machine…” Allen said.

“Allen, Trinity, head to the warehouse!!” We heard Johnny said.

“Warehouse, where is it?” Allen asked.

“Here, Allen Walker and Trinity Lock, follow me.” 65 said with a signal baton.

“Alright, let go, Trinity.” Allen said while running away.

I followed and ran. Allen was in front of me. Then, we arrived at the warehouse. Both of us were panting, but still I have a bad feeling.

“We have reached the warehouse and the robot is beginning to clean up the warehouse!!” Allen said with a sweat dropped.

“Yeah, why is it happening?” I asked with a sweat dropped too.

“Allen, go back to home. You two will be saved there.” Reever instructed by a walkie-talkie.

Allen and I started to run for our life. We ran out of the warehouse and Komurin started to shoot missions.

“Stop, I have to heal you.” Komurin said.

“Are you going to hurt me even more by shooting missiles?” Allen asked.

“Don’t give up now, this way.” 65 instructed.

We ran to way it was pointing and came to the home. We were trapped. Why did Reever instruct us to come here?

“Hey we are here.” Reever waved and a platform below him rose.

“Everyone… When did you guys…?” Allen was relieved.

“Don’t worry, we got you two covered.” Reever said.

Huge cannon emerged from the platform. I converted my Lunar Deluder into a whip.

“Allen, you have to go to Reever. I will take care of that robot!” I said.

Komurin approaching us and he was very close to both of us. The cannon were charging to shoot but that Komui had to come and interrupt.

“Don’t shoot!! You can’t shoot my Komurin!!” Komui shouted and struggling Johnny.

“Don’t you care about Trinity and Allen!?” The others shouted.

“Komurin is not evil!!” Komui cried.

Then, I saw the cannon were going hay wiring. What the hell happened up there? The whole platform was spinning wildly and the cannon were shooting everywhere. Allen had fallen but he caught a bar and hang on. I was leaping and running around the walls in order to dodge the shots.

I caught Allen and placed him on the floor. I charged towards Komurin and saw Kanda walking into the scene.

“What is this uproar about?” Kanda asked.

“Kanda, we will talk later! If we don’t do anything about him, we will be…” Allen said.

I leaped in front of Komurin and whipped him in the face. I leaped to the platform.

“Hey Komurin, I am here!! Don’t you want to me for your surgery!? Then, come and get it!” I shouted annoyingly.

“Trinity, what are you trying to do?” Reever asked.

“Trying to distract him from Allen.” I answered.

“Good idea, and are you going to destroyed it?” He asked again.

“Yes, and I will deal the inventor later.” I responded with a vein on my head.

“Trinity!! How can you do this to me!?” Komui cried.

~Allen~
“I don’t care; I want to destroy it no matter what.” I heard Trinity said.

“I know his weakness. Since I destroyed one like him before.” Kanda said with a hand on his hip.

“What is his weakness?” I asked.

“The hollow place on the nape of his neck is his weakness.” Kanda answered.

“Got it!!” I heard Trinity shouted.

I saw Trinity was going to obliterate it but something stopped her. I saw Komui shot a sleeping dart into her neck and she was falling down.

“Trinity!!” I shouted worriedly.

Then, I saw Kanda jumped down and caught Trinity before she hits the ground. I was relieved. Kanda kept leaping until he reached at the platform.

“Komui, what did you do to Trinity!!” I heard Kanda was ticked off.

“I just don’t want her to destroy Komurin…” Komui said sadly.

“So, you want her to die!!” Kanda shouted angrily.

Kanda was really pissed off. I activated my Innocence and aiming at the neck. Komurin was starting to get closer to me.

“Allen, be careful!!” I heard Russell shouted.

Then, I felt a hand caught my ankle. I was lifted off and I was hanging upside down. I wanted to shoot but I was hit by a sleeping dart. I felt weak and I did not have any strength to move at all. The door to the surgery room in Komurin’s body was opened. I saw a lot of miniature Komui holding scary surgery tools.

“Capture success!! Perform surgery now.” Komurin said.

“Surgery, surgery!” They chanted.

“I can’t move… I don’t have the energy… Help…” I said tiredly.

I could only feel somebody was trying to save me by pulling my clothes.

~Kanda~
I carried Trinity and was pissed off of Komui. No wonder Trinity hates him so much. I saw Moyashi was captured; I would not give a damn. I was more worried about Trinity. I looked at her. Then, I saw Lenalee at the cannon. Her Innocence was activated.

Chapter 23: The Box

I walked out of the room and went back to my room. I did not want to see that damned face of Komui. Baka… Why do I have to come here…? I did not want to face him every day. I removed my mask. I really hate it… I really could not hold on anymore. I cried again and I just could not take it anymore… I want Kanda to be here… I think that only he can understand me…

~Allen~
I turned around and saw Trinity was gone. Where did she go? Trinity did not look good when Kanda carried her back to the boat. Something must be wrong. Komui and I walked out of the room. Komui stopped me and started.

“Allen, can you help me to pass this to Trinity?” Komui said while handing me a box.

“What is this? A present for her?” I snickered.

“Yeah, something like that. Trinity… She just won’t talk to me anymore… I treated her badly in the past… I want to say sorry to her… But I don’t know how…” Komui said sadly.

“You like Trinity!?” I shouted in surprise.

“Shh…!! I don’t want anybody to know!!” Komui shouted while covering my mouth.

“Why don’t you just tell her? She might forgive you.” I suggested.

“Look at the way she treats me… I don’t think that she will forgive me anymore… Trinity is a sensitive girl… I just don’t know how…” Komui said despondently.

“Komui, I’ll see how to help you. I don’t think Trinity is going to hate you forever.” I said while patting him on the shoulder.

“Really? When she saw my face, she would just look away and ignored me… When I know that I like her, I really felt miserable without her around… I was the one that sent her to her relatives…” He looked down.

“So, Trinity did come here before. Why don’t you ask Lenalee to help you?” I suggested.

“I told you that I don’t want anyone to know…!” Komui cried.

“I give this to her and see how she reacts.” I smiled.

“Tell Trinity that if she does not like it, she can throw it away…” Komui said.

“I will. Good Night” I waved and left.

“Please give it to her.” Komui shouted.

“I will, don’t worry.” I shouted back.

Komui liked Trinity. I never thought that Komui could feel this way to Trinity. I thought that Komui only cares about Lenalee. Trinity was a nice girl, even though she could be harsh sometimes. I smiled and paced to her door. I knocked it.

~Trinity~
I heard that somebody was knocking on my door. I opened and saw Allen was standing there.

“What is it?” I asked annoyingly without letting him know that I was crying.

“Here, Komui gave you this.” He said while handing me a box.

“What is inside in this box?” I asked again.

“I don’t know; I did not open it.” Allen said.

“I don’t want it… If he wants forgiveness, he has to wait for a million years.” I said angrily.

“Trinity, don’t be so harsh…” Allen said.

“I don’t care… I just don’t want to know anything about him… Just leave me alone.” I said sadly.

“Trinity…” He murmured.

“I know that you might hate my attitude, but I just can’t forgive what he did to me… I’m sorry, Allen…” I closed the door.

~Allen~
Trinity… What really happened between Trinity and Komui? I strolled to my room. I saw Lenalee on the way back.

“Hi, Allen, you’re back. What’s with the gloomy face?” She asked.

“Nothing, just about Trinity and Komui…” I answered.

“Huh, my brother and Trinity? What about them?” Lenalee asked again.

“Oh… Nothing… Goodnight, Lenalee.” I walked away and went into my room.

I sighed. Trinity… Why is it so hard to accept an apology from Komui? Why do you hate him so much? I really want to know… Yet, you would not open up your heart. I took off my clothes and lay on my bed. Never mind, I will try to talk to you tomorrow. I took my chair and doing pushups vertical with the chair standing on one leg.

“Timcanpy, Trinity is a nice girl, right?” I asked.

It nodded and rest on my bed.

~Trinity~
I changed my clothes. I was wearing a button up white shirt and a long black skirt. I went to look for Kanda. I saw Lenalee on the way.

“Trinity, are you alright? You seemed very tired.” She said.

“I’m fine; do you know where Kanda’s room is?” I asked.

“Oh, his room is right over there.” Lenalee pointed.

“Thanks.” I walked to Kanda’s room.

“Trinity, try to talk him, he is quite weird lately.” Lenalee said.

I nodded and she went off. I knocked on Kanda’s door. I heard footsteps behind the door and it opened. Kanda looked annoyed, but he changed when he knew it was me. I looked down and I did not know what to talk.

“What’s wrong, Trinity?” Kanda asked softly.

“I… I want to talk… If you don’t mind…” I replied.

“I don’t… Come in.” He held my hand and sat me on his bed.

Kanda closed the door and sat beside me. He held my hand and looked straight into my eyes. I could not hold it anymore and cried. I hugged him and buried my face into his chest. Kanda was shock. He hesitated, but he embraced me tightly and stroked my hair.

“Trinity, what happened?” Kanda asked.

“I hate Komui… Why must he do this to me?” I sobbed.

“What did he do to you?” He questioned again.

“I came here before. At that time, I still have relatives, and he did not accept me into the Black Order. I was being sent away to them. I was almost rape by my uncle. I have to kill my uncle and aunt, in order to escape. I was being abused by them everyday…” I said sadly.

“Trinity, Komui just did not care about you. You did tell him that they would hurt, don’t you?” Kanda asked.

“I did, but he did not care at all. Even Lavi was pissed off at Komui’s reaction.” I replied.

“Trinity… I will go and talk to Komui.” He responded.

“It’s ok… I don’t want to talk about him anymore…” I rejoined.

“Are you sure?” Kanda queried.

“Yeah, thanks for listening to me, Yu.” I smiled.

Then, I saw a glass hour with a lotus in it.

“Yu, what is that?” I asked.

“A curse… I can’t die until I find that person.” Kanda answered.

“No wonder you can heal so fast.” I said.

“Trinity, don’t tell anyone about it.” Kanda rejoined.

“I won’t, I promise.” I smiled.

I looked at him and he looked at me. I sat on his lap. Kanda leaned against the wall and I placed my head on his chest. I just listened to his heartbeats and it was like a soothing music to me.

“Yu, I have to go back now. Otherwise, people might think that both of us are doing it.” I whispered.

“Alright, let me escort you back.” Kanda said.

“Do you have a curse, Trinity?” He asked.

“Yeah, it was placed by my father. I can’t tell you what it will do to me… I will tell you when I am ready.” I responded.

“Alright, I will wait for you.” Kanda lifted my chin and kissed my cheek.

I smiled and Kanda led me out and to my room. He said goodnight. Kanda closed the door and I slept soundly, knowing that Kanda is always by my side. Morning came. I woke up and the sun shone brightly. I did my daily routines.

I wore my black kimono with red cloth wrapped around my waist which was short on the bottom part, a pair of black boots and black belt wrapped around my right thigh for my Lunar Deluder. I walked to Allen’s door and knocked it. I waited for a respond. Then, the door opened.

Chapter 22: The Face behind the Mysterious Mask

“Its look like that we can’t go back now.” Kanda said.

“The storm is getting bigger; we have the Innocence with us too.” Allen said wearily.

“It will be troublesome if it get lost, let find a place to eat first.” I pointed at Allen as he was lying on the floor.

“Yeah, we don’t want to bring back a dead body to the Black Order.” Kanda said.

Allen stood instantly, ran to a restaurant and ordered a lot of food. Kanda quickly grabbed Allen and shouted at him. I laughed a little. I walked towards them and placed a hand on Kanda’s. I walked into the restaurant and found an empty table. I sat down and Allen sat down, followed by the rest.

“Are you happy now?” I asked Moyashi.

“Yeah, I finally can get something to eat!!” Allen answered happily.

“Haii… Did you order for the rest of us?” I asked.

“Yep, I ordered a lot too. Trinity, do you have your wallet?” Allen asked anxiously.

“Don’t have to worry about that, Mr. Walker. The crest on your uniform can pay it all.” Toma said.

“It’s ok; I don’t like to have any debt with the Black Order.” I said annoyingly with the thought of Komui.

“Miss Trinity, you seemed to hate the Black Order very much. May I ask what happened?” Toma asked.

“I am sorry, but I can’t tell you. It is just so stupid for me to meet Komui.” I said with folded arms.

“Trinity, what is the grudge between you and him?” Allen questioned.

“I told you that I can’t tell you… If you asked again, I will skin you alive…” I said in a murderous tone.

Allen shut up and just about time that the food arrived at our table. Allen started to gobble food and I started to eat just like others. Toma looked at Allen like he was crazy. Kanda did not give a damn about it.

“Does Mr. Walker eat this much all the time?” Toma asked.

“Yes, because he is a parasite-type Innocence.” I responded.

In a few minutes, Allen finished his last bit of food. I have done eating and the rest too. I called for the waiter and paid with a golden card. Allen and Toma looked at me. Kanda was a little surprised too, but he remained his posture.

“Trinity, where did you get that credit card?” Allen asked.

“From somebody that you don’t know, I helped him to repay some of his debts.” I replied.

“It sounded like my master… Did you meet him?” Allen questioned shakily.

“I don’t even know how your master looked like.” I responded.

“What does the person looked like?” Allen asked again.

“One of my relatives, I helped my uncle to repay his debt and he gave me this. I still hate him… It was the same situation as you with your master.” I responded.

“Where are they now?” Allen asked.

“Some are dead and some are living a comfortable life in their castle.” I answered.

“You are from a rich family!?” Toma and Allen shouted in unison.

“Yes, but I never liked them in any way… I hate them very much…” My eyes darkened.

I stood up and walked out of the restaurant. Allen, Kanda and Toma followed. Allen walked up to me and gave me a sad look.

“The storm has been subsided; we can aboard the ship now.” Toma said.

“Alright, then let go.” Allen said and led us to the harbor.

Kanda and I followed Allen and Toma. We reached the ship just in time and it started to go. I sat near a corner without anybody noticed. I took off my mask and gazed up to the night sky. I was thinking of my mother. If she knew that I got hurt, she will call the medics immediately. She would start scolding and crying at me. How I wish that I could see her again.

~Kanda~
I walked and searched for Trinity. Where did she go? I am really took a liking to her, without her by my side, I felt unsafe and it was the first time that I worried for anybody other than myself. I saw her sitting at a corner, without her mask. Trinity looked beautiful; there was a scar across her right eye. So that is why she puts on a mask. I was thinking of talking to her, but it might be a good idea to leave her alone for a while.

Moyashi asked a sensitive question to her. I did not like the way that he talks to her. Trinity may be his best friend, but there was no need to know her family background. Even that finder, Toma was noisy too. I turned and walked away. Then, I heard Trinity called out my name.

“Yu, is that you over there?” She asked.

“Yes, if you want to talk, please put on your mask first.” I responded.

“Smarty pants, I already knew you were standing there this whole time.” Trinity replied.

I heaved a sigh and sat beside her. Trinity brought her knees to her chest and looked up to the night sky. I followed her gaze and I felt blissful with her by my side.

“Don’t tell anybody how I looked like, not even Allen… I don’t want him to know.” Trinity said.

“I won’t, so there is no need to worry… But, I want to see your face properly.” I said while looked at her.

Trinity turned her face and I was shocked. She was beautiful and her eyes were bright. I caressed her soft cheek, and she blushed. Trinity reached up and took my hand down. I felt something watery dropped on my hand. Trinity was crying while holding my hand.

“Why are you crying?” I asked her softly.

“I don’t think that you should be nice to me… I am just another normal person… It is hard to see me being like this… My heart just hurts and I even hurt myself…” She answered.

I looked her wrists and I knew it. Trinity cut herself. I looked at her and she was looking down. I pulled her into my arms and comforted her. Trinity just kept crying until she was tired and slept on my shoulder. I put on her mask for her and stayed with her for the whole night.

I have had known Trinity for a few days and I am falling in love with her. I thought that she would be too. I kissed her forehead and slept.

~Trinity~
I woke up and we were on the boat of the Black Order.

“Trinity, you’re awake.” I heard Allen said.

“When did us…” I mumbled.

“Just a few hours ago, Kanda carried you into this boat.” Allen said softly.

“Oh…” I murmured and sat up.

Timcanpy flew towards and rest on my head. I just saw Komui waiting at the platform. He smiled goofily and Kanda just leap away without saying hello. I leap off of the boat and walked away. I went to follow Kanda.

“Yu…” I called out.

“What?” Kanda asked.

“Thank you…” I said while looking down.

“Umm… No problem… Trinity, I want you to remember something.” He lifted my chin and said, “Don’t hurt yourself anymore.” Kanda said sadly.

“I won’t, I promise you, Yu…” I murmured.

He then kissed me on my cheek. I blushed and he smiled and walked away. I looked at him and he disappeared into the darkness. I smiled to myself. However, I am an Akuma… No, if I am an Akuma, how can I be cursed…? Only humans can be cursed. I don’t understand what did the Earl told me in the past. Did he mean that I am one of the Noah?

That idiot… I have to clear this question.

“Trinity, let go and give the Innocence to Hevlaska.” Allen said while running towards me.

“Alright… Let’s go.” I responded.

“Where did Kanda go?” Allen asked while looking around.

“He went back to his room.” I answered.

“Ok… I was surprised when he carried you to the boat. I never thought that he could be so nice.” Allen said.

“I know; I was surprised at his sudden change of his personality too.” I responded.

“Yeah, maybe he likes you.” Allen teased.

“If you say that again, I will kill you…” I said in a murderous tone.

“Alright, I won’t say it anymore… …” Allen said shakily.

We went to the Innocence Room where Hevlaska was. We went in and gave the Innocence to Hevlaska.

“Welcome back, Allen and Trinity…” Hevlaska said.

“Please have the Innocence…” Allen said while handing the Innocence to Hevlaska.

Allen looked down the platform and there were hundreds of Innocence. I looked shock at the amount of Innocence that Hevlaska was protecting.

“There are 109 holes in Hevlaska’s body and there are 41 holes that are occupied.” Komui said.

“Really, that much?” Allen asked surprisingly.

“I have to go.” I said while walking out of the room.

Chapter 21: The Other Side of Kanda

We arrived at the train station. Allen went into train along with Toma. I stayed behind for a while to talk to Kanda.

“Well, this is Moyashi and my first mission. What do you think, Kanda?” I asked.

“Badly done… We could get the Innocence earlier than expected time. Yet, we took three days to complete it.” Kanda said annoyingly.

“I have no choice so does him; I did not want to join the Black Order at all. I just want to fight the Earl that’s all.” I responded.

“Never mind that, let get aboard the train.” Kanda said.

He pulled my hand and led me to the train. I looked down at his hand when we were in the train. Kanda looked too and blushed. I blushed too and walked into a cabin. Allen and Toma were in a different cabin, but it was next to us. Kanda sat in front of me. I just fell asleep on the seat.

~Kanda~
I noticed that Trinity was sleeping. May be it just that she was too tired from this mission. The train started to move. I caught myself kept looking Trinity. She looked cute when she is asleep. I wondered how she looks like under her mask. I saw that Trinity was falling to one side. I quickly sat beside her. I allowed her head to place on my shoulder.

I smell the fragrance of her hair and looked at her. Trinity is gorgeous, if I could just kiss her… What am I thinking!!? I could not do that to Trinity. I just placed a feathery kiss on her cheek. I held wrapped my arms around Trinity and dozed off with her.

~Allen~
I wondered what Trinity is and Kanda were doing.

“Mr. Walker, do you think that Mr. Kanda likes Miss Trinity?” Toma asked

“I don’t know, but I do see that Kanda likes Trinity to be around him. “ I answered.

“This is the first time that I see Mr. Kanda accepts a girl whom is a newcomer of the Black Order.” Toma said.

“I don’t think that Trinity is a newcomer. I heard her mentioned that she had been there before, when she was just a little girl.” I replied.

“I see.” Toma said.

I looked out of the window and there was a storm brewing. We might not take the ferry home now. I slept as I told Toma to wake me up when we reached the harbor.

~Kanda~
I woke up and saw Trinity was still sleeping soundly. I smiled and glanced out of the window. It looked like a storm is coming. I think that we might have to stay back for a while, for the storm to be over.

I felt Trinity was moving and was she shivering? Trinity must be having nightmare. What it could be? I held her hand tight, which seemed to calm her down a bit. I kissed her forehead. Trinity slowly opened her eyes and looked at me groggily. I looked at her and she looked down at her hand. Trinity blushed in a thousand shades of red. I quickly let go and looked away, blushed too.

“We are not going to the Black Order on time, due to the upcoming storm.” Trinity said to no one in particular.

“Yeah…”I responded.

“Trinity, Kanda!!” Allen shouted.

“What, Moyashi?” Trinity said in a boring manner.

“We are getting off and I’m hungry!!” Allen said like a baby.

“Alright, we will get you something to eat, then we will see that if this storm is going to pass or not.” Trinity said while standing up.

I stood up and went ahead. Then, followed by Trinity and the rest of them.

~Trinity~
I walked behind Kanda while Allen and Toma followed. I was wondering that why Kanda held my hand so tightly? Is it because he knew that I was having nightmare? I looked at Kanda and he just kept walking. Then, Allen waved his hand in front of me.

“Trinity, what are you daydreaming again?” Allen asked.

“Nothing…” I said with a hint of sadness.

“Alright, if you say so, then I won’t bother you.” He smiled.

Chapter 20: The Old Man and Song of Heart (Part 7)

~Trinity~
I woke up and found myself in a hospital. Kanda was sitting next to me. He noticed that I was awake. I sat up and he handed me the phone.

“Here, Komui called for you.”

“What is it, you idiot?” I said in a harsh manner.

“Do you have to say that all the time!!?” Komui shouted and put that phone away from my ear.

Kanda stood there and looked surprised that I dare to call Komui like that. I gave him a smile and he looked away, blushing.

“Ok, I forgot what I want to say.” Komui said in a silly tone.

“I am going to hang up if you don’t say what you want say right now.” I responded.

“Aww, Trinity… Please talk to me a while more… I am sorry about the past…” Komui responded in a disgusting tone.

“Go to hell, you dumb ass!!” I slammed the phone.

Kanda and Toma looked at me as if I am crazy. I glared them and Toma looked away. That Kanda was still staring hard at me.

“What did Komui say to you?” Kanda asked.

“Nothing… Just the grudge that I hold of him for a long time.” I answered.

“Grudge, you met him before?” Kanda questioned again.

“Yeah, I know Lavi and your given name.” I responded.

“How did you know?” Kanda looked at me strangely.

“I can’t tell you and I won’t call you by your given name. Lavi told me that you hate it very much.” I smiled.

“It’s ok, go and get change and I will wait for you outside.” He stood up and walked towards the door.

“I will and thanks.” I said.

Kanda nodded and went out with Toma. I quickly got changed and walked out of the patient’s room. Kanda allowed me to call him by his given name. Why did he say that…? Does he like me? I admitted that I am starting to like him. He treated me quite differently compared to others. I was sleeping in the hospital for three days, which means Kanda had been with me all the time. I continued to think and walked to Kanda’s side.

“Hey, we are going to see Moyashi.” Kanda said.

“I know. Is he still guarding them?” I asked.

“Yes. He said that he had to do what he had promised.” Kanda responded.

“This is his personality. You have to get use to it if you want to work with him again in another mission.” I said.

“I don’t want to go with him!! I rather go with you…” Kanda whispered.

“What did you say, Kanda?” I asked.

“Huh? No, I was just mumbling to myself.” Kanda said with a hint of red on his face.

~Kanda~
I think Trinity heard what I had said just now. I am really took a liking to Trinity.

~Trinity~
“You healed pretty fast, so are you feeling ok?” I asked.

“Yeah, thanks for caring.” Kanda said with a bit of kindness.

Then, we arrived at the ruins of Malta. It was as still as it was time had stopped. The only thing I heard was the voice of Lala. She was singing a lullaby. I saw Allen placed his head on his knees and sitting there on the stairs.

“I thought you were guarding them. Why are you sleeping?” Kanda asked.

“How can you heal so quickly? Your wounds should take you five months to heal.” Allen said without looking up.

“Timcanpy, come here.” I instructed.

It flew to me and rest on my shoulder. Kanda and I sat on the stairs too.

“Trinity, you are healed too? I don’t believe it…” Allen said.

“I don’t care whether you believe it or not. All we need to do is to wait.” I looked at the building where Lala and Guzol were.

“Hey Moyashi and Trinity, you have been ordered to bring the Innocence back to the Order.” Kanda said with unconcern.

“I will.” Allen said sadly.

“If you are sad, then stop the puppet from moving anymore. She is not the [Lala] that we have known anymore.” Kanda said.

“We can’t do that. Allen and I promised her. Guzol have to kill the puppet himself. We know that Guzol loves the puppet very much.” I responded.

“You two are stupid. We are the [Destroyer], not the [Savior].” Kanda replied.

“I know that… But, I…” Allen stopped.

“The lullaby had its final ending.” I said softly.

The melody had stopped. It was a beautiful and depressing melody symbolized love towards someone that no one loved. Allen stood up and walked into the ruins. I accompanied him in. We approached Lala.

“Thank you… You allowed me to sing before I was destroyed. Now I can give you my heart as promised.” Lala said.

I was shocked as Lala still remembered us, and the promise we made.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” Kanda asked.

“Kanda, I still wish to be a destroyer that saves lives.” Allen cried silently.

“I know.” I whispered.

I approached Kanda and nodded.

“Hurry up; we have to go to the train station.” I said.

Chapter 19: The Old Man and Song of Heart (Part 6)

Allen altered his left arm into cannon and shot the Pierrot. It was shooting out millions of golden bullets at the Pierrot. The sand on the ground rippled like water when Allen shot. The bullets were long and it was stacking up like a tower. Allen stood on top of the bullets and looked around. I looked around too and saw the Pierrot was moving, as in the form of sand.

“Allen, be careful!!” I shouted.

He looked at me and smiled. There was no need to worry about him. Allen shot the moving sand and the moving sand headed straight up to Allen. It engulfed him. I really did not know what will happen to him. The Pierrot started to pierce itself. It would not feel anything as it was just sand.

“I have got you trapped. Let see how you are going to escape. “The Pierrot said, followed by evil laughter.

“Allen, why you…!” I shouted with anger.

“Trinity, don’t go. He is fine.” Kanda stopped me.

“But, Mr. Walker is…” Toma said shakily.

“Don’t worry; Moyashi is going to be fine. His aura has not died out yet.” Kanda responded.

“Kanda… “I looked at Kanda.

Then, Allen came out of it body by slicing it into half. The skin of the Pierrot which was sand split and it revealed the Pierrot. I remembered that the skin of the Pierrot was just a copy paper. Allen had to destroy it before it could replicate again.

“Allen, attack it now!!” I shouted.

“I know that, I won’t let it replicate again!!” Allen shouted.

“It seemed that you are quite smart!” The Pierrot said.

“I’ll never forgive you for destroying Lala and taking her heart!!” Allen yelled in anger and shot the Pierrot with a huge amount of energy ball.

“Why, my arm is the same as his, but why it doesn’t work!!? Why did I lost to him!!?” The Pierrot shouted in despair.

“Nobody can change the Innocence except the Accommodator himself. There will be limit no matter how strong you are.” Kanda explained.

The Pierrot did not die from the impact, but Allen was badly injured. He was coughing blood. I transformed my Lunar Deluder into a scythe and shielded Allen from being hurt. Kanda blocked the attack too, as the Pierrot wanted to attack from the other side.

“Kanda… Trinity… “Allen murmured.

“You stupid idiot, are you going run away at the last minute!!” Kanda shouted heatedly.

“Yeah, and you said you will protect them to the end. So why are you sitting there for, Moyashi!!?” I barked furiously.

“I hate this kind of people. Backing out at the last minute… I hate people that break promises even more!!” Kanda said.

“Never mind, you two always detest me… But you did come and save me. Thanks, I was trying to get a rest.” Allen stood up and wiping away his blood at his mouth.

“You have too many excuses, Moyashi.” I said.

All of us activated our Innocence. Allen shot the Pierrot.

“Kaichu Ichigen!” Kanda shouted and summoned insects of Hell and destroyed the Pierrot.

“Slash of Hell!” I said and summoned the dragon-like flame and engulfed the Pierrot.

~Allen~
Three of us were lying on the floor. We were too tired. Trinity and Kanda were lying on the floor unconscious. I was barely awake. The heart of Lala, the Innocence landed in front of me. I heard Guzol’s voice for Lala.

“Please save her… Please let her move again… Just one last time…” Guzol said softly.

Chapter 18: The Old Man and Song of Heart (Part 5)

~Allen~
I am lost!!! I could not make out where I am now. I have already through every corner!! This place was really like a labyrinth. If I have Trinity and Timcanpy here right now… I was afraid this would happen…

~Trinity~
“Ah choo! God bless me.” I sneezed out a small one.

“Miss Trinity, are you ok?” Toma asked.

“Yeah, I am fine; I think is the dust and debris around here.” I explained.

“You could still sneeze around here.” Kanda said plainly.

“What did you want to me to do; hold my breath?” I asked.

“I did not ask you to do that. You should know it yourself.” Kanda growled.

Was it Allen who was thinking about me? I think that he must be lost here in the labyrinth. Timcanpy must have heard it and flew into the wall and search for him. I heard footsteps from behind.

“Kanda… Trinity…” We heard and turned back.

It was Allen, but he looked different. I looked through my right eye.

“Exact opposite… …” Toma said shakily.

“Do you think that you will fool me that easily? Kaichu Ichigen (First Illusion: Hell Insects)!!” Kanda shouted and attacked Allen.

“Wait, Kanda!! That is not an Akuma!!” I shouted.

Then, the claw of Allen blocked the attacks. I saw him climbing out of a narrow tunnel.

“Moyashi, why did you protect that Akuma!? It could have just killed us.” Kanda yelled angrily.

“That is not the real Pierrot.” I said coolly.

“What did you say, Trinity?” Kanda asked.

“What Trinity had said is true. I can identify which is Akuma and which is not. This man is not the Pierrot.” Allen said while tearing away the mask that covered the face of the fake Allen.

It was Toma. Then, the Toma that Kanda and I been with was the Pierrot all along.

“Trinity, Kanda, the one beside you is the Pierrot!!” Allen shouted.

Kanda and I let our guards down and that allowed the Pierrot to attack us. It slammed the two of us on to a wall. It grabbed us by our neck. It was painful and both of us were coughing blood. The Pierrot was pressing down our throat.

“Kanda, Trinity!!” I heard Allen’s anxious voice.

“What your girlfriend said about Toma was correct. I replicated him while I was chasing after the golem. If I copied Toma, nobody should know about it. Yet, your girlfriend sensed that I was a bit different. I have to be careful. Am I clever or not? My skin is just a copy paper. Let see how I kill you two!!” Pierrot said.

“We won’t die that easily…” I smirked.

“We are Exorcists, remember?” Kanda smirked too.

Out of blue, a swift move from the Akuma and it ripped Kanda’s chest. He was still awake.

“Kanda!!” I shouted with concern.

“Now is your turn…” The Pierrot said and slashed my chest.

“Trinity…” I heard Kanda’s voice.

I changed my Lunar Deluder to a gun and pointed at the Pierrot’s head. I shot it and Allen took the chance and cut it into half. The Pierrot was blasted out of my way. I was full of pain. The wound was agonizing. I could not even stand up. I felt a pair of strong arms carried me up.

“Trinity, are you ok?” I heard Allen’s voice.

“Yes… I am fine…” I answered weakly.

“Kanda, we have to bring Trinity to a safe place and search for Lala and Guzol.” Allen said.

“I know… “Kanda said softly.

~Kanda~
I picked up Trinity and looked at her. She called for me just now. Why did she care so much about me? Trinity fainted in my arms, but she will be fine. I beamed a small smile at her without Moyashi looking. Moyashi and I went to search for the puppet.

We searched everywhere, but there was no sign of them. We need to get to them before the Akuma does. Then, Timcanpy lead the way and we found them. I laid Trinity down on the floor and sat beside her.

“The Pierrot won’t here that quick, we can rest here for a while.” Allen said while looking at Trinity.

“Don’t touch her…” I growled.

“I won’t if I want to, she will kill me when she woke up.” Allen said shakily.

Her wounds were deep; I did not know how long she will be unconscious. Yet, I still wish that she could wake up.

“Is Trinity hurt?” The girl asked.

“Yes, she is and who are you?” I asked.

“She is the puppet, the man is not. Trinity and I have to do this in order to confuse the Pierrot. You are confused too. Lala is the name of the puppet and Guzol is the Accommodator.” Allen explained.

“At least it did distract the Akuma; I want to ask you something. The first time I got hurt, why did my wound heal so quickly?” I asked.

“That is because Trinity applied something on you and that medicine helps you to recover than your normal rate.” Moyashi said.

“Did she use all of it?” I questioned while looking at Trinity.

“Yes, she did. I don’t know why, she could at least save some for herself, but she did not. Trinity just applied all of it to you.” Allen said.

Trinity applied all on me? What is she thinking? There was no need to save me. I was hurt again by the Akuma. She was kind of troublesome. At least she did save me. I admitted that I am starting to like her. Then, I heard sounds. A huge claw which was similar to Moyashi’s pierced through the body of both the puppet and the Accommodator and it was pulled backwards.

Moyashi rushed forwards to grab the puppet but he did not succeed.

“Give me the Innocence!!” I heard the Akuma shouted.

The whole floor had turned into sand. I quickly held Trinity tightly. All of a sudden, Moyashi and I heard a loud booming sound. The Akuma emerged from the sand and caught Lala and Guzol. Moyashi looked at it angrily. I heard mumbles from Trinity. I leap to a high place.

“Trinity… Wake up…” I said softly to her ears.

Her eyes opened slowly and she looked at me.

“Kanda… Where are we?” Trinity questioned wearily.

“We are in one the many rooms. Lala and Guzol are going to be killed. We have to help them.” I whispered and my face was a few inches away from her.

Trinity blushed and looked away. I looked away too, noticing what I was trying to do. Trinity sat up and saw what happen to Allen, Lala and Guzol. She gave me a look of ‘We have to help them’. I heaved a sigh and nodded. I brought Trinity down to the ground.

~Trinity~
I saw the Pierrot was transforming into a body of sand. Allen’s left hand was transforming into a different one. Then, I saw Toma running towards Kanda and me. I was relieved that he was fine.

“The weapon of Mr. Walker is trying to transform…” Toma said shakily.

“The main weapon of Parasite-type Innocence is the feelings of the Accommodator. Anger will trigger the Innocence.” Kanda explained.

“The aura emitted from Allen is full of anger and fury. He is trying to use is it as the weapon.” I said.

Chapter 17: The Old Man and Song of the Heart (Part 4)

“I am sorry… Yet I can’t do it… Trinity and I had promised her.” Allen said.

Kanda glared at him and threw his uniform at his face. Allen looked at it and his eyes darken.

“You used this uniform as a pillow for the wounded. This is the uniform that Exorcist wears. Freshman… We have to sacrifice, in order to save people.” Kanda said angrily.

“Please, I beg you… Don’t take away my heart…” Lala pleaded.

“Then, I’ll sacrifice mine.” Allen said.

“I will too. Let the two of us sacrifice for them. I bet that Guzol could not live more than three days. All we need is time. ” I said while walking towards Kanda and pushed away his sword away from Lala and Guzol.

“There are some battles, which do not need any sacrifice at all!” Allen said.

Out of blue, Kanda punched Allen in the face hard. Allen willingly accepted the hit. Then, Kanda fell on to the ground because of his injuries.

“Mr. Kanda!!” Toma said with concern.

“Hey, you are too naïve… Just because that some people are pitiful, you will sacrifice your life for them… I never heard this before… Not even you, Trinity… You ran away, when you felt something wrong, you didn’t even tell me… Don’t you two have anything that you want to protect!?” Kanda yelled furiously.

“I have to protect the both of them that are why I ran away with them. Kanda, I know what you had said to Allen. But, I don’t care… Allen and I do not have anything to protect anymore… Those have been long gone…” I responded sadly.

“We will help when we felt pitiful for them. That is too much to say.” Allen said with his eyes on the floor.

Unexpectedly, Pierrot came out of Allen. It had completely evolved. I quickly grabbed Guzol and Lala and sprinted away. I had to leave Allen behind again and Kanda caught up with me. Toma stayed behind and hid in one corner to inform us what happen to Allen.

“You are leaving Bean Sprout behind again?” Kanda asked.

“He has to learn how to take care of himself… I can’t always be by his side and help him.” I said.

~Allen~
“You underestimated me, didn’t you? I am a level two Akuma which is totally different from the normal Akumas. We, ourselves already have power. I understood this situation very well as well. The puppet that your friends are guarding holds the Innocence.” It said.

“Damned…” I mentally knocked myself.

“You have the capability to kill me then go ahead!! I won’t hesitate to kill you as well!!” It said with a devilish face.

It started to charge towards me, but it did not do anything to me. I let my guard off and it got the chance to attack me. Pierrot missed but I still got an abrasion on my left arm. It thruster me through many buildings. I managed to stop and but I still got hurt. The Pierrot has completed replicate me.

However, what are those that I see just now? It looked like bullets, if I did not shield myself from it, I might have been dead. I looked at my arm and I was shock. The wound was so big that I have to undergo another Komui’s surgery. Oh god… I have to go again…

“What is that sound? It is like the cracking of… … Ahh!!”

The floor cracked but I was safe. My claws caught one of the crosses hanging. In spite of this, it was swaying very much. If it did not stop now, I will drop on to the hard floor. I found that the floor below me had a huge room. It had a vast space and it was quite clean for a ruined room.

Then, I heard a snap. The next moment I know, I was on the ground. I saw a staircase that leads to the underground passage way. So, Trinity and Kanda must have been gone down there. I walked down the staircase and started to walk aimlessly.

~Trinity~
“You’re right… I hate his attitude…” Kanda grumbled.

“I know… You don’t have to tell me that. I hate it too, but he still has his strengths. I know him for a long time, so I know what he will do and etc.” I said.

“Humph!!” Kanda gave the nasty look again and I smiled at him.

~Kanda~
Trinity smiled. I caught myself looking at Trinity again. Why am I kept looking at her? I felt so weird… I never felt this way before, but I felt that she was the same as me. I have to protect her… What am I thinking!!? I have to stop myself from thinking of her…

“There is an underground passage way that can keep us safe from the Akuma.” Lala said.

“An underground passage way? Where does it lead to?” I asked.

“The residents have to hide themselves from the sun as the sun is very strong in this area. They lived underneath the ground. It is like a maze and if you went in without any clue, you will be lost forever. However, if you can find the exit, you see the horizon of the sea” Lala said.

“This might be a good idea, Kanda. Akumas are lurking in the sky. We are safer down there.” Trinity said.

“Alright, let me help you.” I offered.

“Huh, what help?” She asked.

“Carry one of them, idiot…” I heaved a sigh.

“Thanks, but let us do it after we leap off that building.” Trinity said.

I nodded and leaped off the building. Trinity followed too. Then, a ringing sound came from my wireless golem. The golem flew out of my sleeves.

“Is it Toma, what happen over there?” I asked.

“I took a different path to avoid the impact, but I don’t know how Mr. Allen is. The Akuma was chasing and trying to destroy the golem.” Toma said.

“Ok, my golem will lead the way and you just have to bring Timcanpy to me, which am all. We need Timcanpy, and don’t stay there for too long, it will be too dangerous for that.” I responded.

“Roger that.” Toma said.

“Do you know the way of the passage?” Trinity asked.

“Of course I do. I have been living here for 500 years.” Guzol said and showed his face.

“I was shock. I never thought that I should such a face. It was hideous.

“I’m sorry… I looked ugly.” Guzol said.

“You are the puppet, right? I never thought that you could speak.” I said with surprise.

“Kanda… Don’t tell me you have the idea of taking his heart again? I told you that we have to wait. We will get it sooner or later.” Trinity sighed.

“I know, but it is troublesome to carry a huge puppet. If you can give it to me, I want it now.” I asked.

“Wait, Kanda!! Guzol is the only person that knows the way. If you take it now, we might get lost in the maze.” Trinity said and Lala blocked his way.

“Who are you anyway?” I questioned the girl.

“I adopted her when she was left behind. She was always with me.” Guzol coughed.

I looked at Guzol with softened eyes. Trinity looked at me and beamed a small smile. At least, we did not have to worry about Pierrot for taking Guzol’s heart.

“I am sorry; I think that I was too rushed. You will remain this form until I get your heart. I am sorry that we dragged you into this too, little girl.” I apologized.

“You think you are too rushed… Now we have to wait for Toma to bring back Timcanpy.” Trinity said.

I nodded and in a corner of my eyes, I saw Toma.

“Mr. Kanda and Miss Trinity, I have brought Timcanpy.” Toma said while holding out a handful full of tiny stones.

~Trinity~
Then, this pile of stones merged into Timcanpy. It has the power to regenerate, so Kanda and I did not to worry about it. However, I was kind of suspicious of this Toma. I walked towards Kanda and stood by his side.

“Timcanpy, show us what you have seen during the fight.” Kanda instructed.

Tim suspended into air and slowly opened its mouth. It showed us the vision of Pierrot and the process that Pierrot replicates Allen. Kanda inspected it and found that there was a difference between Allen and Pierrot.

“It is like a mirror. The way it replicates, indicates that this Akuma is not the same as those we had met before. Look, that Akuma who replicates that Bean Sprout is the exact opposite of that kid. The uniform and the anti-akuma weapon are like a mirror image. The Akuma can create a body that can be hollow in the inside but solid on the surface. We have to destroy it no matter what.” Kanda said.

“But if Mr. Walker is still alive, it will be hard to differentiate the Pierrot and Mr. Walker…” Toma said.

“Don’t need to worry, I already told you that it creates a mirror image of Bean Sprout. We can just one look and know it instantly who is the real one.” Kanda explained.

“Kanda, something is wrong with Toma. I don’t know why, but I felt that there was something different about him.” I whispered.

“What is it, you feel something wrong about him…?” Kanda whispered too.

“Since you said that the Pierrot can replicate, I think that it might be replicating Toma. I don’t know how to say, I just feel something is very wrong. If he was at the battle scene, wouldn’t have the Pierrot had discovered him?” I mumbled to him.

“You’re right… We have to be careful about him. Now we just to protect the puppet and the girl from the Akuma.” Kanda said.

“Guzol and Lala, do you want me to help?” I asked.

“It’s ok, we can manage it. Don’t need to be worry.” Lala answered as she looked into my eyes.

I knew that they were going to run away. Yet, I let them do it. It might have been safer if we just let them hide for a while. Kanda, I and Toma just aimlessly followed Guzol as he was the only one that knew how to walk through this huge maze. However, when we turned one corner, both Guzol and Lala were gone.

“They are gone!! Where the hell did they go!?” Kanda shouted in anger.

“I don’t think that they trust us for this, Kanda.” I said.

~Lala~
I carried Guzol and drooped into one of the holes in the floor. Thanks to Miss Trinity, we can escape. Otherwise, the Exorcist will take my heart and separate me from Guzol. I could not let that happen. Miss Trinity and Mr. Walker have promised us. They did it. Thank you.

Chapter 16: The Old Man and Song of Heart (Part 3)

~Trinity~
“Are you crying, Lala?” Guzol asked.

Lala turned and looked at Guzol with her beautiful sad eyes. I looked up and glanced at them. I wondered how Allen and Kanda were doing. I felt guilty for leaving them behind, I have no other choice. I have to protect Lala and Guzol.

“I heard some strange noises outside… I wondered what that was. Trinity, where are your friends?” Lala asked.

“I don’t know where they are, but I know that they will be fine.” I answered.

“Really, don’t you care about them?” She asked again.

“… … I don’t know… I feel numb… I can’t feel anything for anyone…” I mumbled.

“Lala, please sing. The melody was depressing… I love to hear you sing.” Guzol said softly.

“I will. Am I puppet, Guzol…? Am I one of the puppets…? Guzol… …”Lala asked Guzol sadly.

Guzol remained silent. I wanted to ask them something about this town. Guzol may not know that I already knew that Lala’s heart was the Innocence. Otherwise, how could a non-living puppet dwelling in Malta for 500 years?

“I have a few questions for Guzol. Why did you lie to the finders that were trying to protect both of you? Is it just because Lala’s heart was the Innocence that both Exorcists and Pierott seek?” I looked at him.

“I don’t want Lala to be destroyed by anyone else but me… I wish her to be my side till the very end…” Guzol answered.

“Alright… If that is what you wish for… Then, we will wait…” I responded.

“Thank you…Lala, please sing the song titled [I am very ugly… very ugly…]” Guzol said sadly.

Lala looked at Guzol with surprise. She held out her hand and reached for Guzol. She lay in his arms. I could see that Guzol really loved Lala very much, just as much as Lala loved Guzol. He was crying. Even though his face was covered by his hat and cloak, I could see the tears that he shed for Lala.

Then, I heard footsteps. I stood and took out Lunar Deluder. I was in my fighting position. Then, I saw Allen carrying Toma and Kanda. All three of them were injured badly. Then, I heard that Lala picking up something very heavy and bulky. It was a pillar.

“Stop, Lala. They are my friends.” I said.

“Really…?” She said.

“Yes… I am sorry that I have had eavesdropped you…” Allen apologized.

Allen put down Kanda and Toma. He took off his uniform and laid Kanda’s head on it. Kanda was bleeding; I took out some bandages in Toma’s bag which was also the telephone that used the Order. I helped Kanda to dress his wounds and placed something that instantly healed him. His wounds were deep and I helped Toma too. Allen sat in front of Lala and Guzol. I sat beside them.

“Trinity, how did you know that Lala is the puppet?” Allen asked.

“Guzol hinted me and I already know all along. However, I have to wait to let Lala die in Guzol’s hands.” I responded.

“Yes, Trinity promised us. Guzol is going to die and I really want to be with him till the end. Please separate him from me. I will give my heart to you… I promised…!” Lala said with sadness.

“We will keep it. Don’t worry.” Allen smiled.

“Can you tell us that how did you meet Guzol?” I questioned.

“It was a long time ago. A child that was all alone in Malta and he was crying. This child was threatened by other people and was abandoned in this place. I asked that child could I sing a song for him as I was happy when I saw a human child.

The residents of Malta had already left this city long time ago. Nobody had come to this place for 500 years. This child was the sixth one that came into this deserted city. The first five were killed by me. When I asked them that could I sing for them, they would just hit me and called me the ghost. When I found this sixth child, I was overjoyed but if he dares to say or do the same as the first five, I will to kill him.

I was created for a reason and that is to sing for humans. I asked him that can I sing, he said yes. I was overjoyed that finally somebody willing to listen to me and want me to sing. The boy said that this was the first time that somebody was willing to sing for him. His name was Guzol.

From that day onwards, I have been with Guzol for 80 years. He could not move anymore and his heartbeats had become softer and softer. All these 500 years, only Guzol accepted me. I don’t care what happen to me after Guzol die. So, please let me stay by his side till the end.” Lala said with sadness.

“No!! Must we wait for the old man to die, and then we can take the Innocence? In this situation, we can’t afford to waste any time. We are here for the Innocence. Just take the heart of the puppet now!!” Kanda said angrily.

Chapter 15: The Old Man and Song of Heart (Part 2)

I sliced rapidly at the force field and I sliced it opened. Now, I have to bring the Accommodator and the puppet to somewhere safe. I offered my hands.

“Here, I’ll bring both of you to safety.” I said calmly.

Then, I saw Allen got hit by the Akuma and slammed into a wall.

“Allen!” I shouted.

I turned and looked at the puppet and the Accommodator. Then, I saw there were some more Akumas in the sky. I leaped and slashed them all. I noticed that Kanda was heading towards the Accommodator and the puppet.

“Kanda, bring them to safety!!” I shouted and started to attack other Akumas.

“There is no need for you to say.” Kanda responded.

Kanda carried both of them and leaped off.

“Trinity, I want you to follow Kanda.” Allen instructed.

“You will be facing alone with that level two Akuma, are you sure that you can handle it?” I asked.

“Yeah, I can handle it.” Allen said.

“I won’t help him if I were you, since he is starting to be emotional. He should be able to handle it himself.” Kanda said coldly.

“Trinity, go with Kanda. When I’m done, I will go and search for you.” Allen said.

“If you say so, then hurry up.” I said and Kanda was already gone.

I soon followed up with Kanda and felt that was something wrong about the atmosphere around us. I stopped Kanda and he stared at me.

“What’s wrong?” He asked angrily.

“Let me take them to safety.” I said with extending hand.

“Why?” Kanda questioned.

“Don’t ask, just hurry.” I responded.

Kanda looked at me and hesitated. He gave me both of them and I ran off. I carried the puppet and the Accommodator to somewhere safe in the ruins of Malta. I found a room-like place and placed them.

“Trinity… Are we going to be fine?” The puppet asked.

“Yes, you and your friend will be fine. I am not going to let the Akuma to hurt you two.” I answered.

She smiled and snuggled back to the Accommodator’s arms.

“My name is Lala and his name is Guzol.” The puppet said.

I nodded and sat near a pillar. I was thinking about Allen and Kanda. Were they going to be alright? I was just running away. I could not fight that much Akumas; otherwise I will start to lose control… I have to find this person, I could not die now. I have to keep the curse between him and me.

~Allen~
Kanda and Trinity have gone. At least I know that Trinity was going to be fine. Pierrot that I have to defeat was starting to evolve. I have to stop it before it is too late. I could not let it to evolve to another higher level since it was already a level 2 Akuma. I charged at it and sliced it into half. I was losing and I have to do it quick.

My left eye was not reacting. Don’t tell me that this is a fake one? Then, where is the real one?

“I’m here, behind you.” Pierrot said.

I looked back and saw it being turned into me. It had the power to replicate. The only difference was that my anti-akuma weapon was my left arm and the Pierrot was the opposite. It used its anti-akuma weapon and plunged into my chest.

No, Trinity and Kanda are in trouble!! The real Pierrot had gone to find them; I need to find them immediately. I quickly thruster Pierrot away, placed Toma on my shoulder and dashed to search for Kanda and Trinity. I have to find Kanda and Trinity. I could not allow anything to happen to her. She was the second person to accept me when I was down and out. She may be cold and heartless sometimes, but she was still a good friend.

I kept dashing till I saw Kanda bleeding very badly. He was suffering from the attacks that Jester Akuma inflicted on him. I have to save him but I did not see Trinity anywhere. Where did she go? The puppet and the Accommodator were not with Kanda too.

~Kanda~
When I was hit by the Akuma, Trinity hurried away with the puppet and the Accommodator. Why did she go, did she feel something wrong about the atmosphere? Trinity was right about the atmosphere of the surrounding. But why did she run anyway? She was so much heartless than me. Trinity just walked away without fighting, she was a coward.

Yet, I could not die no matter what. I have to meet this person before I allowed myself to die. I just cannot allow this to happen… Everything blacked out.

~Allen~
Kanda fainted. I rushed in front of Kanda and ripped Pierrot apart. I was angry that Pierrot could just kill a person when he or she is unconscious. I slammed Pierrot to a wall and the wall collapsed. Kanda was unconscious and I caught him before he hit the ground.

“Kanda, are you alright!?” I asked anxiously.

I could hear his breathings. He was alive and I was relieved. I quickly grabbed Kanda and got away before Pierrot recovers from the rumble. I was terribly tired but I could not give up right now. I have to find Trinity and bring these two to safety.

“Mr. Walker, please put me down… You are injured, so you shouldn’t stress yourself out…” I heard Toma said wearily.

“It’s ok; this bit of wound won’t stop me from saving you two.” I responded.

Where am I now? I could not even make out where is this place. This ruin of Malta was like a huge maze. Old, long pillars that looked like it will collapse any moment. I have to get them to safety and search for Trinity. Timcanpy was just flying around my head. Cracks on the walls and it looked fragile.

Then, suddenly, I heard somebody was singing in the ruins. Then, I remembered what Trinity had said, ‘Malta was named the people [The Place that abandoned by God]. In order to break away from the pain there suffered, the residents created puppets that can sing, dance and laugh… …’

Chapter 14: The Old Man and Song of Heart (Part 1)

The ancient city named Malta is just an empty ghost town. Nobody lives there, except the ghosts of Malta. The ghosts were the residents of Malta. They hate those who abandoned their home and friends that left them behind. Their looks were hideous, in order to break free of loneliness, they will kidnap children that appeared near Malta.

“This is it.” The finder said while we were on top of a building.

“Is that our train?” Kanda asked.

“I still have one question to ask… …” Allen said.

“Ask later, the train is leaving.” I said.

“What, are we taking the train like this?” Allen asked.

All of us jumped on to the train and landed on it safely.

“I have done this a lot of time, so don’t worry.” The finder said.

“At least we made it.” I said while crawling towards the opening that was on the train.

I jumped into the cabin and then the others followed. The cabin man looked at us surprisingly.

“Umm… You can’t come in like that… Normal customers have to be in the second-class cabins. This is the first-class cabin.” He stammered.

“We are from the Black Order; please help us to prepare a cabin.” The finder said.

“Black Order…? Oh, I see, I will prepare immediately.” The cabin man bowed and went to prepare a cabin for us.

“Huh, what happened?” Allen asked confusedly.

“The crest on your uniform can allow you to move freely from and to anywhere.” The finder said again.

“Really?” Allen asked.

“Yep, that is one of the many advantages being a member of the Black Order.” I answered.

“I am sorry that I forgot to introduce myself. I am Toma, one of the many finders; I will be going with you to Malta and please to meet you.” Toma said.

“Your cabin is ready.” The cabin man said.

“Thank you.” Allen smiled.

I went in and then Kanda, followed by Allen. I sat beside the window and Allen sat beside me. Kanda was sitting in front of me. We took out the detailed book and read it.

“Ok, return to the question that I asked just now. What does this myth got to do with the mission?” Allen asked.

I sighed and Kanda looked outside the window. He must be thinking that Allen was an idiot.

“Innocence that we are talking about is the strange events that happened that dated back from the happening of the [Noah Flood]. In the beginning, the earth is submerged under the sea. Humans found Innocence because there may be a mysterious force that caused them to find it. Humans lived on this planet had different ways of living and etc. These caused strange things to happen. Why do you think that these events will happen?” Kanda asked.

“So, the Ghost of Malta has something to do with Innocence… …” Allen answered.

“[When strange things happen, there will always be a presence of Innocence], the Order wants to know the true reason behind every of these strange events, that’s why the Order sent us to investigate.” Kanda said.

I saw Allen was thinking hard about Innocence. May be he just got confused.

“If Innocence could affect the strength of that place, and that place has the presence of the Accommodator… … Then, that might have been the best weapon to destroy Akumas. Is that what you are thinking, Allen?” I read Allen’s mind.

“Trinity… … Yes, I am thinking that way. If the presence of Innocence can cause strange events to happen, then what is The Ghost of Malta? Allen asked.

“The real aim of the Ghost of Malta is to get Innocence from the Ghost. It is resided inside the soul of the Ghost.” I answered.

“The Ghost of Malta is a puppet that holds the Innocence.” Toma said.

“Malta is only a place that is dry and deserted. It is hard to live there and it was often named [A place that is abandoned by God]. The people that lived there, in order to break away from the pain that they endured every day, they created puppets.

The people there created puppets that can laugh, sing and dance. In spite of this, people got tired of the puppets and left the place. The only things that were left behind are the puppets that were created there and from then until now, it have been 500 years. I heard this story before when I was little.” I said.

“Trinity…” Allen said sadly.

“It does not feel good when you are abandoned by the person that created you…” I said softly.

“Now, you heard it again. What is your point about this?” Kanda asked.

“I just want to free them from their endless loneliness.” I responded.

“Kanda, don’t be so heartless!! Trinity is just…” Allen said while I stood up.

“We have reached our destination, I am going down and I’ll be waiting you two at the deserted city.” I said while opening the door and ran off of the train.

~Allen~
“Trinity!!” I shouted.

“Never mind her… She will fine.” Kanda said without changing his tone.

I stared at him angrily and walked away. I ran and he followed as well as Toma.

“So, the Ghost of Malta is only a puppet… …” I said.

“However, if the puppet is made up of Innocence, that will be bad news. Akumas will be starting to target that puppet and the Accommodator.” Kanda said.

We have arrived at Malta. It felt so cold, what had happened here? Where are the finders? I could not feel any life around here.

“Trinity, where are you?” I shouted.

“Idiot, do you want the unknown enemy to know that we are here!?” Kanda knocked my head.

“I am worried about her. If it isn’t for you, Trinity won’t just walk away like that.” I said angrily.

“I can’t communicate with her… Didn’t she have a golem with her?” Kanda asked.

“She does not have a golem with her, she preferred to be alone.” I explained and Kanda was using his golem to communicate to Toma.

~Kanda~
That Trinity is making me so worried. Why am I feeling so worried about her? She was just another Exorcist that might get in my way. I need to get her off of my mind. Why am I feeling this way? I have never felt this way before.

~Allen~
“What? Even Toma’s golem has lost its connection. Hey, if I think that you were obstructing me, I will not save you when you’re in trouble. I will just stood there and let you be killed. When there is battle, there will be always sacrifice; the partnership between us is quite unique. I don’t care what happen to you and Trinity, as long as you don’t get in my way.” Kanda said coldly.

“I don’t like the way you speak.” I responded.

~Trinity~
I ran towards the place that I sensed. I saw two people sitting together at a corner in a cube that was created by the Finders. It was a force field that does not allow Akumas to enter.

“You two must be the one that Toma was talking about. I am from the Black Order. I came to bring you out here.” I said while kneeling down.

“Who are you?” The little girl asked.

“My name is Trinity.” I smiled.

Then, I heard rumbles and the place was going to collapse. I transformed my Lunar Deluder into a huge silver shield and protected me from the debris of the collapsing building. I emerged from the rumbles and saw Allen and Kanda. The Akuma was standing on top of a mountain and it was in a form of Jester.

“It will take time to deactivate the force field, so I will have to play with you to wait for time.” The Pierrot said while his foot was on top of a finder’s head.

“Stop what you are doing now!!” Allen shouted while charging towards Pierrot.

Chapter 13: Start of a Mission

The morning came. Sun shone through the window and to my eyes. I woke up and looked at my watch. It was only 7a.m in the morning. I did not usually get up this early but I am in the Order now. I have to train and fight Akumas etc. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I stretched myself a bit on bed and got off the bed.

I did my daily routine and wore my clothes. A pair of black leather boots; a small black short which was wore under my black leather split skirt; the one in front was shorter than the one behind. A shoulder less black leather shirt which showed my shoulders; black bandages around my upper right arm to hide away the tattoo; a fingerless glove on my right hand and a two black wristbands which I could not take out, I wore my rosary properly, as I could not take off the whole thing.

I got ready and walked out of my room. I paced towards Allen’s room door and knocked it.

“Wait a minute!!” I heard Allen shouted and I waited.

The door opened and I saw Allen was wiping himself with a towel.

“You did not sleep last night?” I asked.

“Good morning, Trinity. No, I can’t sleep at all. I am too excited and I was doing exercise.” Allen exclaimed.

“I did sleep soundly last night… Come on and dress up. We are going to eat our breakfast.” I said.

“Oh! Wait a minute, I’ll go and get dressed.” Allen said and wore his normal suit.

“Your room is about the same as mine.” I said.

“Really, are you sure?” He asked.

“Yeah and where is Timcanpy?” I questioned.

“I don’t know. I have not seen him since last night.” Allen responded.

Allen got dressed and both of us went down to the cafeteria. There were a lot of people and they were wearing white uniforms, it was not the same as the normal uniforms.

“Trinity, who are they?” Allen asked while both of us were walking towards an empty table.

“Finders, they are the one who would be sent to a particular place where Akumas lurk. They are somewhat the reporters of the Order.” I answered.

“I see. Do you want me to order your breakfast for you?” Allen asked.

“Huh? Sure, just the usual one that I always eats.” I said.

“Alright, wait for me here.” Allen said and went to order food.

I sat down at the table and at one corner of my eye, I saw Kanda. I was facing him and I caught myself staring at him dreamily with one hand supporting my chin. Then, he saw me. I pretended to look away from him. I was blushing when he turned and saw me.

~Kanda~
I saw that girl staring at me. Her name is Trinity. However, she was wearing a mask, how can I know that she was staring at me. She looked away when she noticed that I saw her. What is the strange feeling in my heart? I shook off that feeling and continue to eat.

~Trinity~
Then, I heard somebody shouted. It was from the direction where Kanda sat.

“What did you say?” A bald man shouted at Kanda.

“Hey, stop it!” A man shouted to calm him down.

“Say that again!!” The bald man shouted.

“Shut up! When people were eating, you were crying over the death of your comrades. This makes people sick!” Kanda said in his normal tone.

“You… Is this how you thank us, the finders that helped to protect and helped you Exorcists? We risk our life to assist Exorcists in every way we can!! I’ll kill you!!” The man yelled angrily.

The man was about to hit Kanda but he managed to dodge it. Kanda grabbed the man’s neck and struggle him.

“You mean that is protection? I think you have said the wrong thing. You assist but not protect. All of you are not Accommodator of the Innocence. If you don’t want to die, then leave! There are people in this world willing to risk their lives other than all of you!” Kanda said angrily.

“Stop, I know that it is none of my business, but you have just said, is unacceptable.” Allen said while holding Kanda’s wrist.

“… … Let go of me, Moyashi (Bean Sprout)!” Kanda said.

“My name is Allen.” Allen responded irritably.

“I will remember your name if you are still alive after one month. Many people died in this place, just like this bunch of guys.” Kanda smirked.

Allen was fed up and squeezed Kanda’s wrist. Kanda let go of the man and he dropped to the ground.

“That is why you shouldn’t say!” Allen said angrily.

“You should die earlier. You are in my black list.” Kanda responded furiously.

“I’ll take that as a compliment.” Allen said.

“Trinity, Allen, Kanda!! Ten minutes to eat and report to Komui’s office right away.” Reever shouted.

Allen walked to Jeryy and took the breakfast. He walked towards me and placed my breakfast in front of me. I thanked him and started to eat. Allen started to gorge up all his food. I ate my breakfast and drank my coffee and tea.

After a few minutes, Allen and I were done. Both of us walked to Komui’s office.

“That damn bastard!! Idiot Kanda!! How I wish I could my hands on him!!” Allen shouted wrathfully.

“Calm down… You will get your hands on him later.” I said calmly.

“How would you know!?” He shouted but covered his mouth right after that.

“Did you just shout…? I am going to kill you if you do it again…” I responded coldly.

Allen nodded. I continued to walk to the Komui’s office with Allen at the back. Both of us kept a distance since Allen made me kind of mad. We have reached Komui’s office. I opened the door and saw Kanda, Lenalee and Captain Reever.

His office was still as messy as ever. As a Supervisor, you should not sleep during work, but Komui was sleeping with loud snores. Captain Reever walked towards him and shook him.

“Supervisor, Komui!!” Reever hit Komui’s head hard, but still no use.

“Hey, Lenalee is going to be married.” Captain Reever whispered into Komui’s ear.

“Lenalee, such important matter, you did not tell me!! I will never forgive you!!” Komui shouted with tears and held Lenalee’s legs.

“I am sorry; he will go crazy for little things.” Reever said while pointing to him.

“Bang!” Lenalee hit her brother on the head and Kanda, Allen and I stood there with sweat dropped.

“I’m sorry, I stayed late in the night to do my work.” Komui explained.

“I stayed through the night too!!” Reever complained.

“There is no time for chatting. Once the briefing is over, you three will be heading immediately. Details about the mission are inside the book that I gave you. You can read it along the way.” Komui said.

Allen and Kanda looked at each other with disgust.

“You three will be working together. Why, the relation between you two has worsened than improving?” Komui asked.

“Bingo.” I said with a hand supporting my chin.

“Ok, but I don’t want to hear any excuses. There is an Innocence Accommodator in Malta, Italy. You have to eliminate the enemy before it gets to the Accommodator.” Komui briefed.

After that, we went to the underground water passageway to leave for our mission. It was dark and wet. The only light source was the lamp on the platform. Then, Komui gave Allen and me the uniforms. Allen was the same as Kanda’s and mine was the picture at the beginning.

It was just that it has sleeves as the same level of the brim of my strapless leather shirt and a hood. A split skirt too, which was short at the front and long at the back. The uniform showed out my shoulders and special pocket for my weapon.

“Isn’t it too big, and must I wear this kind? It really looked like what an Exorcist should wear.” Allen said while wearing his uniform.

“This glove is specially made for your right arm, and the uniform is customized to be wear in battle.” Komui explained with a smile.

I hopped on to the boat and saw something was moving in Allen’s sleeves. Then, it flew out. It was Timcanpy. Allen came on the boat and there was a finder on the boat already.

“Where have you been, Timcanpy?” Allen asked.

“Tim had photographic memory. It let me know some of your past. That’s why I was stayed late in the night.” Komui answered.

Allen looked back to Komui when the boat started to move. Komui gave him a thumb-up and Allen smiled. Allen kept looking at me every now and then. I was just looking at the water calmly. I did not talk to Allen or Kanda. I just did not know what to talk about.

I read the details of the mission and Timcanpy flew on my head.

~Allen~
The uniform that Trinity wore was her style and she looked beautiful. I smiled and she saw it. I quickly looked away and blushed. I read the details too.

~Kanda~
Trinity looked beautiful, the uniform fitted her perfectly. What am I thinking!? Stupid idiot, stop thinking about her!! I mentally knocked myself. I caught her looking at me. I looked away and continued to read.

~Trinity~
Why am I stuck with these weirdoes? I heaved a small sigh and continued to read the details.

“We are here.” The finder said and stopped the boat.

Chapter 12: The Goal and Judgment

~Allen~
What are these things? I did not feel any comfortable with these things in my body. I turned and looked Trinity. She looked cool, calm and collected. She was enduring the pain. It felt that they were searching for something. I wanted to activate my cross, but I could not. At that moment, I forced myself to activate my cross.

“Activate!!” I shouted and my arm was in a strange form.

I screamed loudly. It was painful, very painful. It was so agonizing. I heard that thing was whispering.

“How can him… Even though his arm is paralyzed, he still forced himself to activate… No, please calm down… I am not an enemy… What you are activating is the weapon that is used to annihilate Akumas… If you are not the compatible user of the Innocence, you will be in grave danger…” It placed it’s forehead on mine, “2… 16… 30… 41… 58… 78… 83%!!”

Then, it released itself from me.

“Now is your friend’s turn…” It said while looking towards Trinity and placed its forehead on hers.

“Trinity!! Wake up now!!” I yelled for her attention.

It said, “3… 19… 40… 60… 70… 93%!!”

Trinity woke up and looked at me. I stared at my hand.

“You two should be fine… When you activate your Innocence, the rate of Synchronization with your Innocence is 83% and 93% respectively… That is the highest you can reach when you activate…” Hevlaska said softly.

“The rate of Synchronization, what is that?” I asked.

“This means the rate of activation of your Innocence, you stupid. The lower it is; the dangerous will be when you activate your anti-akuma weapon.” Trinity said.

“What your friend had said is true, I am not trying to threaten you. I know it when I feel your Innocence…” Hevlaska explained while putting Trinity and me down on the platform.

“My Innocence…”I said and looked at Trinity.

“Allen Walker… Your Innocence will become the ‘Destroyer of Time’ in the upcoming world of darkness… Trinity Lock… Your Innocence will become the ‘Creator of Time’ in the upcoming world of destruction… I can feel it… That is my power…” Hevlaska said.

“Destroyer and Creator of time?” Trinity and I said in unison.

“Isn’t that great? Hevlaska must be talking about you two and her predictions are very accurate. No, I should say that Hevlaska has high hopes on both of you.” Komui clapped.

Trinity and me punched him in the face, but missed. We hit the clipboard instead. Trinity and I were very mad about him without telling us that we have to face this.

“Komui, can I kill you?” Trinity asked irritably.

“No, don’t kill or hit me anymore! I’m sorry that I have frightened you… That is really scary, right? Sorry…” Komui hid behind his clipboard which was bent, since Trinity and I hit it.

“But this is the rule. Every future Exorcist has to pass through this test in order to be a real Exorcist.” Komui explained.

“Why didn’t you tell us when we first came in? What the heck is Innocence anyway?” I yelled heatedly.

“I shall tell you two the detailed story about Innocence. Innocence is going to have deep ties with those who are fighting the Earl. The only people that know this are the Black Order, Wong I Kai and the Earl of Millennium. Everything was dated back from 100 years ago, story about a stone box was found.

There was an ancient message that was being left here, which the usage of some unknown substance. That stone box is the unknown substance that I was talking about. It has the item that was named the [Crystal of the God]. To us, the item is the Innocence. It is the same as the one in your arm and Trinity’s weapon. It is used for obliterate Akumas and we forged it into weapons for easy use.

The person that created the Innocence fought with the Earl of Millennium that created Akumas. It was a victory, but the ending was not expected to be good. The world was destroyed by the [Noah Flood] about 7600 years ago, according the Bible. The box recorded this event as [Three days of Darkness].

According to the prediction of the stone box, the world will be destroyed by the Earl again. The event, [Three days of Darkness] will occur again. Just like the box had predicted, the Earl returned to eliminate the world. Asia Branch of the Black Order does what the box had recorded, which is to establish the Black Order. The compatible users of the Innocence also known as [Accommodator] whom also are all the Exorcists in this world.

In spite of this, the Earl did not forget the past that easily. He created an army that annihilates the God which is Akumas. If the color of Innocence is white, then the color of the Akumas that he created is black. They are created by a material named [Dark Matter]. This material will become stronger by evolving. The Earl wants the Innocence to be destroyed, stopping it to be reborn.

There are 109 Innocence in this world. They were scattered across of the world because of the [Noah Flood]. First, we have to retrieve all the Innocence that once awakens, and then we could fight with the Earl. The Earl is searching for the Innocence as well, and intending to destroy all of it.

This is battle of seeking Innocence. If we failed this mission, the prediction of [End of the World] will come true.” Komui explained.

“This is the fate and destiny of you, Innocence Accommodators…” The Generals spoke.

“Well, this is all that I have to say. Let’s work together to protect this world that we live in, but of course there will not be any rewards.” Komui winked while extending his hand.

“We know that…” I sighed.

Komui Lee shook hands with Trinity and me, “Welcome to the Black Order. There are 21 Exorcists in this world, including you two. The missions are spread throughout the world; you will get to see them later. Oh… Hevlaska is one of the Exorcists as well.”

“What!?” Trinity and I asked in unison and surprised.

“However, I am different from all the others… I am the Accommodator of the Stone Box and the guardian of the Innocence since the day that the Black Order was established. I have seen a lot of Exorcists… Allen and Trinity… Both of you have the protections of the God…” Hevlaska said.

~Trinity~
Both of us walked out of the room and we were extremely tired. Then, Lenalee came and brought us to our rooms. Allen’s room was right beside mine. I said goodnight to him and went in.

The room was simple. A huge broken glass window; a double bed at a corner; a cupboard of books and putting clothes; a study table and two chairs and a few weird posters which were either jesters or death were pasted on the walls. I laid on the bed and thought of my mother.

“I have reached here, Mother… Never stop walking and never looking back…” I whispered.

I slept soundly that night, with the silver moon shone through the window.

Chapter 11: Entry

The other two gates opened and we looked back to gates.

“Please come in, Allen Walker and Trinity.” The voice said again.

I used my sword to block the man’s attack and he was staring at me. I glared at him and pushed away his sword from Allen’s neck.

“Wait, Kanda! No need to kill him anymore. They have the golem that is belonged to General Cross Marian. That is the best evidence.”

“What about her?” Kanda asked while staring hard at me.

“She is my friend, so…” Allen stammered.

My sword was still in my hand and then, a girl came. She had a clipboard and she had a head of dark green hair and a pair of bright purple eyes. Her hair was tied into two ponytails at either side of her head. She wore the uniform of the Black Order and long black boots.

She hit Kanda’s head and said, “Hey, you can’t talk to newcomers like this and the gate is closing. Get in quickly!” She pointed.

The four of us went in and the gate closed straight away. We walked to the main door and the girl introduced herself.

“My name is Lenalee, the assistant of the Supervisor. I help my older brother to organize things that need to be done.” She said.

“Nice to meet you, my name is Allen Walker and my friend here is Trinity Lock.” Allen introduced himself and me.

I looked around and it has not changed a lot. I hate the Black Order. Yet, this is the gateway to meet the Earl in battle. How I wish that my mother would see me being inside here. Kanda walked away. I felt kind of strange with Kanda around. I shook off the feeling, and then Bean Sprout had to call his name.

“Kanda!” Allen called.

He turned around and glared at Allen furiously. Allen was in fear of Kanda.

“So your name is really Kanda… Please to meet you.” Allen extended his hand.

Kanda stared at Allen cold and hard. He looked down at Allen’s hand and looked fiercely at Allen and said, “I don’t shake hand with people that have curses on them.” Kanda walked away.

“He detests me…?” Allen’s eyes darken.

“Well, he is always like this and he just came back from his mission.” Lenalee smiled.

“Come on, let’s go.” I said plainly while walking away.

~Kanda~
I walked away and stopped. I took a last glance of the girl that was with the Bean Sprout. What was her name again? Trinity, she was strong to block away my attacks. I might want to challenge her one day. She was kind of like me. Never mind.

~Allen~
“Your friend sounded so like Kanda. Soon, we will have two Kanda in the Order.” Lenalee smiled.

“Yeah, I supposed so…” I sighed while Trinity was walking ahead of us.

~Trinity~
I heard that Bean Sprout and Lenalee were talking about me. I ignored them and continued to walk. I stopped and walked beside Allen.

“Somebody is talking about you…” I whispered.

“Who is talking about me?” Allen asked.

“The guards over there are the one who are talking about you.” I pointed towards the guards.

He nodded and we strolled along the hallway and Lenalee toured us around.

“This is the cafeteria. Here is the training ground and the third floor is the lounge. Other places like library and clinic will be introduced to you later.” Lenalee said.

“Will they give me a room and Trinity one?” Allen asked.

“They will and every order you receive as an Exorcist is from the Order itself. That’s why Order is often named [Home]. Yet, there are some people deliberately do not want come back here anymore.” Lenalee said.

Allen must be thinking of his master right now. Poor him… I wondered how his master looked like. Still, he seemed content that this place is called [Home]. We continued to tour and saw a long hallway.

“What are the rooms that housed by this long hallway?” Allen asked.

“Oh, this hallway, you asked? Lenalee responded.

She looked at us and she smiled at Allen’s clueless face. I walked away to the next floor.

“I won’t introduce to you. Let’s go!” She smiled while walking away.

Finally, we reached the main control room. It was huge room with a lot of machines. Then, a man walked up to us.

“Come in, I am the Supervisor of the Science Lab, Komui Lee!” He introduced.

“You idiot…”I growled.

“Do I know you?” He looked at me while adjusting his glasses.

“You idiot… I am the girl that came here all alone three years ago.” I said bluntly.

“Are you Trinity!?” Komui pointed me shakily.

“Who do you think I am?” I grumbled.

“You have changed and you have become stronger. Allen, I’m sorry that you got hurt.” Komui said with concern.

“Humph!!” I walked head start of Komui and the others.

“What’s wrong with her anyway, mood swing?” Komui asked while drinking his coffee.

“I don’t know…” Allen responded.

Then, we arrived at a surgery room. Komui went and took a chair. He sat beside the surgery bed. I placed my suitcase down and leaned against the wall at a corner. Lenalee helped her brother to prepare some surgery tools.

“Allen, come and let me see you arm. You just got a little wound when Trinity protected you from Kanda, right? Come, there is no need to be shy.” Komui smiled.

“Ah… Ok…” Allen agreed and turned to look at me.

“What are you looking at?” I asked.

“Not… Nothing…” He responded.

Allen laid on the bed and Komui and Lenalee looked at his left arm. Komui inspected it and Allen’s arm was looking pretty bad. I was sure that I did obstruct the attacking route of Kanda’s attacks, but why there was still a wound on Allen’s arm. It must be the impact when both of our swords met that caused the wound.

“Oh man… The wound is really deep and it reaches to the nervous system. Lenalee, help me to get the analgesic. Allen, can you activate your Innocence?” Komui responded.

“Yeah, sure…” Allen agreed and activated his Innocence in his left arm.

Allen’s left arm transformed into the claw. Komui and Lenalee looked surprised.

“Good! You are parasite-type.” Komui said while knocking on Allen’s arm.

“Parasite-type…?” Allen asked.

“Yep, you are one of the perfect ones that I have seen. When it comes to annihilate Akumas, the rate of awakening is pretty high. Parasite-type Innocence is the rarest of all, the body is the weapon and it will easily affected by the condition of the body.” Komui said while carrying a driller and an injection gun.

It really looked scary. Allen was trembling with fear. He was perspiring profusely. I closed my eyes and got ready to listen to the cries of Allen while he is having his surgery.

“What are those equipments for…?” Allen asked shakily.

“What, you mean this? This is for healing and curing your wound. This will be a bit scary so if you don’t want to have any nightmare of this, you better close your eyes.” Komui smiled innocently.

“Wait… Wait a minute…” Allen shattered.

“GO!!” Komui shouted happily while Allen screaming likes hell.

My god… Allen was going to have nightmares after this is over. I opened my eyes and watched Komui healing Allen’s wound. I thought that Allen must have been fainted. Then, Lenalee asked her older brother something.

“Are we going to that place later? Allen and Trinity are humans so it is ok if they did not get checked.” Lenalee said.

“Huh? Trinity and Allen are both humans but… Wait!! Trinity, can you activate your Innocence?” Komui asked me.

“Which one do you want me to activate? I have two.” I answered.

“What, where?” Komui asked in surprise.

“One is inside my weapon and another is in my right arm.” I responded.

“You have two, are you born with it?” He asked.

“Yes, I was born with it.” I answered plainly.

“Ok… Activate the weapon first.” He instructed.

I activated and converted it from a small metal stick to a scythe.

“It can transform according to your will. What about your arm?” Komui said with amusement.

“I can’t activate two at the same time.” I responded.

“I see… Activate your arm.” Komui instructed again.

I activated the Innocence in my right arm and it turned into a huge claw just like Allen’s left arm but it was a bit thinner and it was black. Komui had that smug on his face. He must be thinking that he had to operate on me. I stared at him fiercely and showed him ‘If you dare to touch me, I’ll kill you’ look. Then, he turned away and helped Lenalee to bandage Allen’s arm.

“I hope you and your sister will keep quiet about this. It is not that I trust you to keep the secret; I just don’t want the Earl to know about this. I met him in the past, and I know I will meet him once again. If he got my power, I really don’t know what will be the outcome.” I said while deactivate my Innocence and leaned against the walls.

“Don’t worry. Does Allen know about it?” Komui asked.

“No.” I answered.

“Good. This will not be leaked out no matter what.” Komui responded.

After Allen was done, we were brought to a place where we will be tested for our rate of activation of our Innocence. However, Allen looked pretty tired, since the analgesic will not wear off till tomorrow.

“Don’t worry, your wound will fine and it might have some side effects but you’re a parasite-type, so you should be fine. The God chose you because you can activate the power of the Innocence to the maximum.” Komui said.

“Innocence…? Allen asked confusedly and looked up.

“Those are our bosses, the Generals.” Komui looked up and looked at both of us, “Show them your power.”

Then, tentacles came out of the floor. It caught Allen and me off guard. We were pulled away from the platform and a snake-like creature with a feminine face emerged. It was cried softly for Innocence. The tentacles entered us by our skin and to our Innocence. Allen and I were not ready for that. Allen tried to activate his Innocence but it was no use as the analgesic did not wear off yet.

“I told you that you can’t activate your power because the analgesic will not wear off till tomorrow. Hevlaska, what do you think of these two?” Komui asked with a smile.

Chapter 10: The Black Order

Finally, we reached the Black Order. In spite of this, we have to climb up the mountain. I started to climb and Allen followed. Allen started to complain.

“Why must it be built so high up?” Allen asked.

“I don’t think you want the Black Order to be destroyed by the Akumas.” I responded.

“You’re right.” Allen agreed.

It had not changed a bit. It still gives people an eerie feeling. Allen felt it too.

“I know that I have asked a lot of time, Timcanpy. Are you sure this is the place?” Allen asked.

Timcanpy nodded and I walked before Allen. There were a lot of little black bat-like things flying around. They were called golems, used for communicating. A few of them were staring at us.

“I’m sorry. I am the student of General Cross Marian, and she is my friend.” Allen introduced.

“Gate keeper, check them.” I heard a voice from a golem.

The gate popped out and shouted, “X-ray body check!”

It did a body check on Allen and it shouted, “Out!!”

The gate shouted and it startled Allen, not me.

“Get this brat out of here!!” The gate keeper shouted with tears.

“What!?” Allen asked in shock.

I took out my weapon and converted it into a katana.

“This kid is a bad guy. He had a pentagon on his forehead. He is the ally of the Earl of Millennium!! Intruder alert!!” The gate keeper kept repeating.

“Moyashi (Bean Sprout); let me take care of this!” I said.

A man with a head of long black hair that tied in high pony tail and had bandages around his chest stood on top of the tower. He had a pair of cold and hard eyes. I got ready my position.

“Hey, stand back.” I told Allen.

“You dared to come alone…”

“Wait… Wait! It is all a mistake!” Allen shouted in misery with hands waving.

I rushed towards Allen and blocked the attack with my katana. The man was strong and the impact was huge. I pushed him away and looked at Allen. He was dropped to the ground. I looked towards the man, he looked shock. A black katana was his weapon. Allen activated his Innocence.

“What is that on your hand?” The man asked.

“It is an anti-akuma weapon. My friend and I are Exorcists.” Allen said.

“What? Gate Keeper!!” The man shouted angrily.

“I have already checked him!! I don’t know his real identity; I can’t do anything about that!! What if he is the real Akuma?” The Gate Keeper said with tears and continued, “The girl has not been checked, I need to check on her!!”

“There is no need for you to check me… I’ve had been here, you damn BASTARD!!” I yelled wrathfully.

“What, Trinity, you have been here before?” Allen asked with shock as I was scolding the Gate Keeper.

“I’ll tell you later.” I responded.

“Let me in!! I am a human, I may be cursed but I am still human!!” Allen pleaded loudly with sweat pouring off of his head.

“Don’t touch me!!” The Gate Keeper begged.

“Idiot…” I heaved a sigh.

“Never mind, I will have to cut you open, by using this sword [Mugen] and we shall see who you really are.” The man said while preparing to fight.

The man dashed at Allen. I stood in front of him and prevented the Bean Sprout from being killed by this man, but for some reason, Allen still got hit.

“Trinity… Thanks… But I still got hit…” Allen said with relieved.

“Tell them that your master, Cross Marian, did send a letter to inform that idiot named Komui Lee!!” I yelled crossly.

“What, General’s Letter…?” The man asked.

“Yes, the letter from General Cross Marian…” Allen shuttered.

“Let them in.” A voice from a golem said

“Huh, allowing them to come in…? What about the girl…?” The Gate Keeper asked.

“Let her in too.” The voice said again.

Chapter 9: Beginning and the Knowing

“Both of you can see the soul of the Akuma? Do you want to save him? If you can, then show it to me, Exorcists!!” The Earl shouted.

“Allen!!” I heard Trinity’s shouted.

“I know!!” Trinity shouted back.

~Trinity~
An Akuma charged towards us and Allen sliced through it. The Akuma was cut into half and there were more.

“If the poison did not affect the both of you, I’ll do it in groups!!” The Earl summoned.

“Please don’t look down on us. We were protecting John and there was a chance for you to defeat us. That kind of fire power will not kill us.” I said with pride.

“The moment Trinity and I activate our Innocence, the power will be the same rate of the speed of sound and light. Akumas’ bullets and hard bodies are not enough to kill both of us.” Allen said with self-importance.

“They are the weapons made to destroy you. They are weapons made by God.” Allen said proudly.

“You two are too over confident. Then, let’s play!” The Earl sat on one of the Akumas and summoned more Akumas.

“Attack, Akumas!!” The Earl ordered.

“Get out of the cemetery now, John!!” Allen instructed.

“We are going to destroy them all!” I responded.

~John~
Trinity and Allen charged forwards and started to kill the Akumas. I stood there and thought about both of them had said.

“Destroy… …” I whispered.

Akumas are created by the Earl of Millennium which is the foe of the humans. We must destroy them no matter what. I know that, I was trying to. Leo’s mother died suddenly… These had caused him to change so much. You should know that the Earl is a bad guy. Then why did you accepted the Earl and left me all alone?

“You idiot… Idiot… You made your own mother into an Akuma just to see her one more time… I am not like Allen or Trinity, could see the souls and I don’t know are you crying or not… I really don’t know… Idiot… … IDIOT!! I’m sorry, Leo!! ” I shouted with tears pouring out of my eyes.

“Allen, Trinity, destroy all of them!!” I shouted with hurt.

“Rest in Peace! This blow will destroy all of you!” Allen and I said in unison.

“Cross Grave!!” Allen shouted.

“Benevolent of Death!!” Trinity shouted.

Allen’s Cross Grave casts crosses of light on the Akumas and Trinity’s Benevolent of Death summoned an angel with a sword and killed all the Akumas. Then, a strong light was emitted and destroyed all the Akumas. The Earl escaped cowardly.

~Trinity~
I saw the Earl was running away.

“Look like this level of power is not enough. Let’s start from the beginning.” The Earl flew off with his umbrella.

“Earl!!” Allen shouted.

“What you have seen is only the opening… All the Akumas in this world are evolving. The real show will be opening from tonight. I am the creator of Akuma, The Earl of Millennium!! I am also the one that live in this world with the God that altered the world!! The messengers of God… Exorcists, no matter how hard you all try, you all will never succeed in saving the world!!” The Earl shouted and disappeared.

“The opening…” Allen murmured.

“We will meet him again...” I said while looking up.

“Yeah… We will…” Allen said and started to collapse.

“Allen!!” John shouted.

“Hey, are you ok?” I asked while kneeling beside Allen.

John rushed to Allen’s side and kneeled beside him.

“John… I’m sorry; can you help me to call the doctor?” Allen’s face was pale.

“Wow… You have lost a lot of blood. Trinity, you’re bleeding too…” John said.

“It’s ok… Just go and call the doctor.” I said while holding my bleeding arm.

I saw John was crying. Allen looked at him.

“I’ll call the doctor immediately… Even if you fainted, you will wake up immediately.” John cried.

Three days later, my wounds were most healed and Allen’s right hand was in cast but he was doing fine. Both of us stayed at John’s house. We walked around the house and knocked on John’s workshop door. Still, we did not get any respond.

“What are you doing?” Allen asked.

“What are you doing!? You can’t just barge like that!” John said in a surprising tone.

“We did knock on the door, it just that you didn’t hear it.” I answered.

“You are making a cross?” Allen asked and looked at the golden cross.

“I want to make this as Leo’s grave. Everybody thinks that Leo had ran away from home, nobody knows that he is already passed away. I don’t know when the people will make one for him…” John said with sadness.

Allen looked at him with care. I just sat on a chair and listened to what they said. John placed the cross beside the picture which had him and Leo inside it.

“Are you two going to the Black Order?” John asked curiously.

“Yes. Timcanpy is pushing both of us already. We really have to go.” Allen said while looking at Timcanpy.

“I am going to see my father. I want to know more about this world because the way I am now is not mature enough.” John smiled.

“Oh… Very well, let’s do our best!” Allen and John promised.

I smiled and walked out of the room. I went to change my clothes. I was wearing a black tank top, long black pants and a sliver belt. I wore a hat and black bandages around my right upper arm, two black wristbands on my left wrist.

I took my suitcase and waited outside for Allen and Timcanpy. Both of them came out and we were off. Allen waved goodbye to John and Tim rest on my shoulder.

“How long will we reach the Order?” Allen asked.

“Soon.” I answered.

Chapter 8: The Mark of the Pentagon.

Leo smiled devilishly.

“Leo… Why…?” John whispered sadly.

“Please believe us, John. Leo is not a human anymore.” Allen said.

“He is only a killing machine that is wearing your best friend’s skin.” I said.

“Who are you?” The Earl asked with his head tilting to one side.

“Good Evening, Earl of Millennium. My friend and I are your enemies.” Allen introduced.

“Are you two Exorcists?” He asked.

I hate the look on the Earl’s face. How I desire to kill him right now. Yet, I have to wait for Allen.

“Ah… It is an honor to meet you two.” He bowed.

“Cross destroys the Akuma that is in pain! Bring salvation to this pitiful soul!” Allen converted his arm into a claw.

John stood in front of Leo and protected him. It stopped Allen from attacking. I stood there and watched.

“John…” Allen murmured.

“Why…? Why must it be Leo…? I am his best friend, right? We were about to search for Akumas! We promised to protect to the town together… He is not an AKUMA! Do you have the proof!?” John shouted in disbelieve.

Leo transformed himself into an Akuma and positioned all the guns at John.

“Leo…” John murmured.

“John!!” Allen rushed to John.

I quickly rushed to John and stood in front of Allen. I blocked all the attacks, but the bullets managed to hit Allen. Pentagons were appearing on Allen’s skin and the poison was spreading fast. I got hit too, and those marks started to surface out. Allen and I kneeled down in pain.

“Allen!! Trinity!!” John shouted our names.

~John~
No… Allen and Trinity were hit by the poison. If people got hit by the poison, they will be eroded away and die. They were suffering because of me.

“Hahaha!! You two charged and shielded John from being hurt without hesitation. You two are brave!! What about you, John? You are disgusting. You do not have any power but full of justice and I am the real bad guy. I am creating Akumas for the good of everybody.” The Earl smiled devilishly.

“Why, akuma is ugly, don’t they? This is the creation of calling back your love ones. Leo is just another weapon to kill. Akumas are created from humans’ hearts. All others Akumas are the same. Leo is no difference.” He explained.

“Leo… became an Akuma…?” I whispered.

“Leo said that if he could seek help from the he Earl, he could see his beloved mother again. That’s why Leo became an Akuma.” Allen said, “I can see it… After Leo had become an Akuma, he clearly sees how his mother was suffering.”

“I can see it too… The tears that were shed by Leo’s mother were not anger, but it is love for Leo…” Trinity said.

“Can you two see it? What do you want to say? This does not count as death.”

Trinity and Allen looked up and gather their energy.

~Allen~
My body has an anti- akuma weapon. I could just neutralize the poison in my body. I did not know is Trinity alright or not. Still, I saw her stood up. Her poison was starting to go away. I smiled and healed myself.

“Allen, your eye… What is that…?”John asked in fear.

“Curse… …” I answered.

“In the past, someone that is important to me turned into an Akuma. That curse allows me to identify Akumas and the souls in them.” I said.

“Ah… I remembered now… I have seen you before… You’re Allen Walker and you are Trinity Lock! Allen Walker, when you turned your father into an Akuma, you were still a child! Trinity Lock, you were the one that dared to turn down my offer!” The Earl exclaimed.

“In the past, the Earl approached me and asked me that do I want my father to be revived. Both of us did not have any blood relation. However, he took me in and took care of me like his own. My biological parents abandoned me because of my left arm. I was naïve and I asked the Earl to revive Mana.

Mana was screaming because I have caused him to be an Akuma. He made this scar and it was a curse from the Akuma. Out of blue, my left arm moved on its own and trying to kill Mana. I did not know what was happening. I told it to stop; it just won’t listen to me. I had asked my father to run, but his last words were ‘I love you, Allen. Please kill me…’” I said with remorse.

“Those souls that are trapped in Akumas have no freedom at all. They will be the Earl’s weapons forever.” Trinity said weakly.

“After that, I met my master, Cross Marian. He told me that the only way to release the souls was to destroy them. My master asked me to become an Exorcist. That’s how I met Trinity too.

From that day onwards, I could see the souls of the Akumas. At first, I thought it was the curse that Mana gave me, but the more I see Akumas, I know why Mana gave me this curse. Just like Trinity had said the tears that were shed by the Akumas were not anger but the love for those who turned them into Akumas.” I said with sadness.

“‘Why can’t I be stronger and live my life?’ Is the question that was questioned every now and then in our minds and in the Akumas’ minds.” Trinity responded.

“So, Trinity and I are fighting for survival, not for repaying debts. Both of us sworn to be Exorcists to destroy all the Akumas and this curse is my goal in my life.” I said while clutching my hand.

“Akumas are too pitiful to stay in this world. They have to be eliminated!” Trinity and I said in unison.

“Allen… Trinity… I should have killed you two when I have the chance.” The Earl said evilly.

Chapter 7: The Night of a Full Moon

After what had happened, we bid our farewell to Moore and left. We searched an inn and slept.

“Trinity… My dear daughter…” I heard my mother’s voice.

“Mother, is that you?” I asked.

“Why didn’t you save me…? I was protecting you and you should have killed your father during the process without me dying in front of you!!” She said in anger.

“No…!! You are not my mother!!” I yelled in anger and shot her.

I woke up and found myself on the bed. I was covered in sweat and panting very heavily. A miserable nightmare woke me up, that told me my past, which haunts me so many times. I sat up thinking why Mother had become an Akuma? I did not wish for that. If I could have left the family, my mother would not have died and she would be living happily with my father.

My mother was deeply in love with my father. I just did not understand why my father would want to kill me. I did hate him, but he did not seem to bother. I know that he loves my mother very much but why…? May be he knew I am an Akuma but I was born with two Innocence. I covered my face with my hand and think is it just that his demonic side could not take it anymore of the pain inside of him or it was my Innocence that triggered him to kill.

I looked around and noticed that Allen was still snoring away. At least he did not get to see me like this. Timcanpy seemed to notice me and flew towards me. It was a small golem that used to communicate and it belonged to Allen’s master, Cross Marian. It landed on my lap and slept.

Timcanpy was a golem but it was a little different than the normal ones. It was gold and had a cross on its face, but it sure knows how to comfort people. Yet, I still have this strange feeling lurking in my heart. I felt that my father would be still alive. I need to stay calm when this time comes, if he came back, I will kill him again. I went back to sleep with Timcanpy by my side.

The sun emerged from the horizon and shone through the windows. I woke up and saw that Allen was sleeping on the floor. I sighed and walked to the bathroom to do my daily routine. I came out of my shower and changed to my clothes. I was wearing a white button up shirt, long black pants with a skirt-like cloth to my left. I strapped my weapon around my waist. It transformed into three chains and it was like a belt.

I walked out of the bathroom and spotted that Allen was still sleeping. I asked Timcanpy to bite his ear and it did. Allen jumped up and hit the ceiling right on the head. Allen was wincing in pain and glared at me and Tim. Tim flew to my shoulder.

“What did you do that for!?” He barked loudly.

“You were still sleeping and we need to get to the Black Order pronto.” I responded with a hand on my hip.

“Oh yeah, you’re right!!” Allen shouted.

“There is no need for you to shout, Bean Sprout.” I said bluntly while walking to the door, “I’ll be waiting for you downstairs, so you better hurry and pass me my suitcase.” I pointed it.

Allen threw it to me and asked, “When did you get that?”

“Moore gave it to me and some of her clothes.” I answered.

“What? You are quite cold to her. Why did she give it to you?” Allen asked again.

“Are you going to chat all day or make haste?” I responded irritably.

“Ok… Sheesh… Why is so hard to talk to you?” He said while I slammed the door.

I heard that Allen was grumbling and I ignored it. I went downstairs and the owner had made some breakfast. She said good morning to me and I nodded. I sat down on a chair and ate my breakfast. At the moment, I heard that Allen was coming down to eat his breakfast. I asked the owner of the inn to cook more for Allen. She nodded and started to cook. He came down and sat on a chair.

“You don’t look that good.” I said while drinking coffee.

“I am hungry, that’s why.” Allen said.

The food that I ordered came and Allen started to gorge everything into his mouth. It was no wonder as he was a parasite-type Innocence. They have huge appetite and digested it quite fast. After a few minutes, he was done eating. I stood up and paid money to the owner.

“Are you done?” I asked.

“Yep, I’m done!!” Allen answered.

“Let’s go.” I said while picking up my suitcase and walked out of the door.

“Hey, wait up!!” Allen shouted.

Timcanpy flew to me and landed on my shoulder. I hopped onto a carriage and Allen came out of the inn. I waved to him and asked him to come up to the carriage. Allen jumped up and sat.

“Where did you get this free ride?” Allen asked.

“They said they would bring us out of London.” I pointed to the circus people.

Allen looked and smiled. We did not talk to each other as I need peace and quiet. I looked up to the blue sky and started to wonder off in my world. Timcanpy was flying around again. I created a blue butterfly ad Timcanpy was chasing it.

“Timcanpy, don’t keep flying around. Otherwise, it will be like last time that you get eaten by a cat!” Allen called.

“What? Being eaten by a cat?” A clown said.

“Yeah, and that caused me a lot of effort to bring Timcanpy back.” Allen responded.

“Only you…?” I said irritably with a vein popped out on my head.

“No… With my friend here…” Allen said shakily with his hands raised.

“Huh, are you going to England to tour?” A lady wore a bunny mask asked.

“No, we are going there to say hello.” Allen answered.

“To the Black Order, that is.” I said.

~Allen~
I noticed that Trinity was dozing off. She looked kind of cute when she does that. What does she look like under her mask? I really want to know. Suddenly, I felt like I got hit by my master, Cross Marian. I snapped out of it and I was out of breath. I was thinking that was I dreaming or I just could not forget it.

“Hey Moyashi, something is very wrong here.” I heard Trinity said.

“You are awake and what do you mean by that?’ I asked.

“IT IS AN AKUMA!! IT WAS TRYING TO KILL ME!!” Both of us heard a boy shouted.

“Let’s go.” Trinity stood up while grabbing her suitcase and jumped off of the carriage.

“Alright and thanks for the ride!” I jumped and ran towards the voice.

~Trinity~
I followed Allen and found a group of men crowding at the alleys. Both of us stopped and looked at their angry faces.

“How can there be an Akuma?” A bald headed man said with a vein popping out.

“Huh?” Allen’s sweat dropped.

“Look what have you done! John!” The man knocked on the boy’s head hard.

“Ouch!!” He cried out.

“I am sorry for the trouble; it was the kid’s doing. He was trying to make fun of everybody.” The man said while pointing fingers to the boy.

“Idiot, I was not trying to make fun of everybody!! There was really an Akuma!! My father said that Akumas are invading the world!!” John said in anger.

“Alright, alright… You see how playful he is.” The man said.

“He is too much!!” Another man said in anger.

“What I am saying is the truth!! This homeless uncle was being killed be a man wearing a big hat and he placed the skeleton of the Akuma into his body---” John said while pointing to the beggar but was interrupted by the beggar covering his mouth.

“Never mind, I was just playing with him. He was playing very happily so…” The beggar said.

I knew it from the start that the beggar was the Akuma. I got ready of Lunar Deluder and transformed it into a gun. I hid it behind my back. The group of man walked away and left us behind. I swiftly shot the beggar in the head and Allen moved quickly and ripped the beggar.

“You can’t fool me. You are the Akuma.” Allen said.

The Akuma exploded and John stood there in shock. He was speechless.

Allen started, “You seemed to be very familiar with Akumas, and may I know what...”

Allen just got hugged by John very roughly. I stood at the side.

“You two are Exorcists!! This is the first time I have seen not one but two Exorcists at one go!! Was that a weapon against Akumas!!? Let me see it again!!” John said excitedly.

Allen was lying down on the floor and John was on top of him. I carried John up by his collar and helped Allen up. I put John down and picked up Allen’s suitcase.

“Are we going to ask him to tell us who his father is? I asked.

“Yeah, let’s talk along the way.” Allen said.

We walked of the alleys and strolled on the main road. John skated beside Allen and I was walking beside Allen. John kept looking at me and I just stared at him under my mask.

“Why do you wear a mask?” John asked me.

I remained quiet.

“She is a little shy, so please don’t mind.” Allen smiled.

“HE IS A GIRL!!??” John shouted loudly and pointed at me.

“So what if I am a girl?” I asked gloomily.

“Cool!! A female Exorcist!! This is the first time I have seen a female Exorcist!!” John exclaimed.

“Her name is Trinity and how do you know so much about Akumas, John?” Allen asked.

“My dad is a scientist that does research on Akumas in the Asia branch of the Black Order. In order to fully use my time, I read his books and found out there are Akumas in this world. My dream is to become a scientist and create an anti-akuma weapon to destroy all the Akumas.” John answered.

“And you looked weak as an Exorcist, your friend looked so much better than you. In my impression, I thought that Exorcist should be an old guy wearing a cloak. You do not look like it at all.” John said sarcastically.

“He he…” I let out a small laugh.

Allen looked at me and stared. Timcanpy flew to my head and rested on my head. John placed his arms behind his head and stood there.

“John, you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.” I said, “Allen is quite strong if you have been traveling with him.”

“Are you sure? And I want to ask that how many Akumas have you killed? How did you two get your anti-akuma weapon? And how do you feel when you first killed an akuma?”
John asked anxiously, wanting to know the answers.

Allen and I looked at him, Allen started, “John, it is better if you don’t interfere with the Akumas. If this goes on, you might get targeted by the Earl like just now. When the time comes, you will be in deep trouble.”

John gave us a nasty look and threw an onion at Allen. I stood away.

“Here, this is for you.” John said.

“Huh, an onion?” Allen looked at the onion.

Then, it exploded. Allen was crying pretty badly, I was unaffected as I was wearing my mask.

“This is my invention, onion bomb! I am sorry but I can’t allow Akumas to roam this world freely! There will not be any danger, don’t lie to kids, weakling!!” John yelled while running away.

“My eyes… Trinity, why didn’t you grabbed him and allowed him to run away!?” Allen shouted.

“I know where he lives, so don’t worry.” I responded.

“What, why didn’t you tell me earlier? That would help me a lot of beating the crap out of that kid!!” Allen grumbled.

“Let’s go.” I offered my hand to help Allen.

“Yeah, let’s go.” He took it and agreed.

Timcanpy landed on my head and lay comfortably. I wondered why I am having a bad feeling that something might happen to John. The atmosphere was very strange when we reached John’s house which was a mansion.

“Bean Sprout, there is something very wrong here. I sensed Akuma is in here.” I told Allen.

“What, where? You mean there is an Akuma in the house?” Allen asked.

“Yes. Let’s knock first.” I said while standing at the side.

Allen rang the bell and a very fat maid appeared at the door.

“I was told that John lives here, is he in?” Allen asked.

“You mean young master John?” She said.

Out of the blue, the maid fell towards Allen. She crushed him head on. I heard John’s voice. That damned kid was snickering.

“Yes?” John smirked, “I am not going to listen to your lecture!! You idiot!! You will never convince me of your story!!” He shouted with his tongue sticking out.

“Jo… John, you damn kid… I am not going to care about you anymore!!” Allen shouted irritably.

“Let’s go, Leo!” John shouted.

“Allen, that kid beside John…” I said.

“No way… John, wait!! That boy is…” Allen shouted.

“I will follow them! Come on Timcanpy!” I said while running to catch up with Tim flying.

I caught with them and arrived at a cemetery. What a suitable place for an Akuma to bring a lone person in and kill. I looked around for those kids. I hid on top of a tree and listened to what they were talking about.

“Isn’t this the cemetery, Leo? Do you want me to help you to clean your mother’s grave? Why didn’t you just tell me earlier? I can help you with it.” John asked.

I saw John was running towards a gravestone. Then, I saw the Earl of Millennium was standing in front of John. I took my weapon and converted it into my sword, Dark Monarch.

“Good Evening. Please to meet to you, John.” The Earl said while patted on John’s head.

“The Earl… The Earl of Millennium…” John said in fear.

John threw an onion to the Earl. I exhaled nosily.

“Hey Leo, we have to run! What happened to you? We will get kill by The Earl!!” John shouted and shook Leo vigorously.

“Leo had died on the day of his mother’s funeral. You… You are getting in my way. He is the Akuma that I sent to kill you.” The Earl said.

“You’re lying…” John murmured.

“It’s the truth, John.” I leaped off of the tree and landed in front of the stairs.

“Yes, this is the truth. Leo is the Akuma of the Earl.” Allen said.

Chapter 6: The Opening of Darkness and Light

“Are we going in?” I asked.

“Of course, Timcanpy is eaten by the cat and ran inside here!!” Allen shouted anxiously.

“Alright, then let’s go.” I heaved a sigh.

We went in and searched for the cat. Allen and I split up. I walked and looked around. Then, I heard Allen was shouting.

“Get it, Trinity!” Allen shouted.

The cat ran past my leg and a group of bats flying towards us. I turned and ran.

“Trinity, why didn’t you catch the cat!?” Allen asked angrily.

“A group of bats is flying towards us, we can use it to push the force and make us run faster. Then, we can catch the cat.” I said.

“Oh… I get it. Use the force to push us forward.” Allen nodded.

“When I said go, jump into the crowd!” I shouted.

“Alright!” Allen shouted.

“Go!!” I yelled.

We were being push forward and Allen reached out to catch the cat. However, it seemed that we knocked into somebody. It was a policeman. She was holding on the cat.

“Now I caught you, let see where you will run this time.” Allen said.

“Ouch…”

“Huh? Are you a human? Why are you here?” Allen asked.

“Clung!!” A handcuff caught Allen and I stood aside.

“Who are you?” The police woman asked.

“I’m so sorry! I was just trying to catch the cat and my friend and I were just travelers.” Allen said with his hands raised up.

Still, Allen and I were sitting on a chair with our hands cuffed.

“Hey, is this the strange church that people are talking about from two years ago? I just got here just now. When my friend and I walked past through here, something which is very important was being taken away from us. My friend and I were searching for it. The cat ate it.” Allen explained.

The police woman did not look convinced.

“Please believe me!! I am not lying!! My master left me something very important, I can’t lose it!!” Allen beseeched.

Then, she started, “Master? Where is your master now?”

The police woman kept quiet and not convinced.

“I lost him when we were in India.” Allen answered.

“Will it kill you if you don’t talk about your master, Bean Sprout?” I grumbled.

“You are the one that want to go off and I followed you! And you, stupid cat!” Allen said anxiously.

“There was no need for you to follow me. I did ask you, right?” I growled.

“Anyway, you two have to wait for me here. I will go and search for my colleague.” She said.

Then, we heard a scream, followed by rumbling sounds.

“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!”

“What happened?” The police woman asked in astonishes.

She went down and I released myself from the handcuff.

“Trinity, help me too!!” Allen pleaded and I sighed.

I freed Allen and both of us saw the police woman’s colleague was killed by an Akuma. Then, it cracked into millions of pieces. The body emitted the toxic gas. Allen used a cloth to cover the woman’s mouth from behind.

“Be careful, the stench from the body is toxic. He was killed by Akuma.” Allen said.

“Akuma…?” The woman fainted.

“Lady, are you alright!?” Allen shouted worriedly.

“We have to get her out of here! The toxic is getting into her!” I said.

Both of us ran out of the church. Allen carried the woman and rushed towards the police station. I followed and reached there. I opened the door for Allen and he placed the woman on a bench.

“What… what happened to Moore?” One of her friends asked.

“She fainted in the church and we brought her out of there.” Allen said.

“You two have to meet the detective!!” Her friend said and pulled the both of us into the negotiate room.

Then, we were forced to sit down and being asked by a stupid-looking detective. We were being asked to answer a lot of questions. The woman woke up and stood idiotically at the door.

“Where’s Charles!?” The woman asked.

“The detective is asking right now.” Her friend said.

“What?” She turned and looked at us.

“My name is Allen Walker. I am a teenager without a nationality and a home.”

“What about you, girl; what do you have to say?” The detective asked.

“My name is Trinity Lock. I am in the same situation as him.” I said while folding my arms.

“You are the one that killed Charles, right?” The detective said while hitting on the table hard.

“No!! I did not!! Trinity said something!!” Allen said nervously.

“What do you want me to say?” I asked straightforwardly.

“I only brought this lady police here when she blacked out!!” Allen said, trying hard to convince the detective.

“You were in the church, aren’t you? You and your friend are the prime suspects! And your hand is red, is it blood!?” The detective said angrily.

“No, it is already like this… …” Allen answered.

The detective pulled the glove away and looked at Allen’s arm. Even the lady police was shocked.

“What is… is this?” The detective asked in shock.

“Let go of me!” Allen said plainly.

“What is that symbol? Don’t you feel pain when you tattooed a cross on your hand? You are a hopeless bastard!! You should take care of your body which your parents gave you!!” The detective yelled and pointed finger at Allen.

“I’m sorry!! Before the killing, I was with the two of them.” Lady police said.

“What?” The detective asked in astonishment.

“Detective, we found huge gun and ballistic marks at the crime scene. Nonetheless, the items that were found on these two were a suitcase, a weird-looking stick and a cat. We did not found any more evidence at the scene.” One of his men told him.

“Chief Moore Hesse, why did you faint at the most important time!?” The detective shouted angrily.

“I’m sorry…” Moore apologized.

“Why can’t you just bear with it? You were in the crime scene but you did not found out who is the killer!” He grumbled.

“You can’t blame her for that.” I started.

“What did you say?” He asked.

“And I know who the killer is.” Allen said with his hand raised up.

“Even though we did not see him, we know who the person is.” I said.

“Please allow us to assist you in the investigation. The name of the killer is [Akuma]

In our positions, we have seen a lot of them before. The more he gains his ‘killing’ experience, the more he will evolve. He will strike again. If you don’t stop him in time, the outcome will be devastating. This cross on my hand is an anti-akuma weapon. You should have heard The Exorcists before. They are the one that destroyed Akumas.” Allen explained.

“Exorcists, what the hell is that? Never mind, you will stay here. Officer Moore, you will stay at home and look after these two. I’ll be going to the church to check it out.” The detective said with unconcern.

“What, why!? Trinity, please say something!” Allen begged.

“What do you want me to say? We are ended up like this; at least you will not be stuck in this place.” I said coldly.

We ended up went to the Officer Moore’s house. Allen made a mess while we were trying to get to the church. I slapped my forehead and helped him up.

“What are you doing!? You said that you are going to let my friend and I go. Both of us want to go the church!!” Allen shouted.

“No!” Officer Moore grabbed Allen’s collar.

Both of them must be thinking of the detective. The way he scolded them and kept the both of us trapped inside her house. No, make it three. Moore could not go out too.

“Hey Allen, we have to get to the church before anything happen.” I whispered to him.

“I know that, but how are we going to get out of here? I really wish that the detective and his group will be alright.” Allen answered.

“They will be dead by the time we reached there.” I whispered again.

“Allen, do you really think that Akuma is the killer?” Moore asked.

“What?” Allen turned around.

“In the olden times, Akuma is just another make up character that associates with death and diseases. The people created this story because they were terrified of things that they can’t explain. I don’t care if it is a myth or a misconception, this does not belong to the reality. I don’t believe in these things at all. I just don’t like the way you talk or your tone about this.” Moore said while reading a book.

“Anyway, the Akuma that I said is totally different from the one you have said. Allen said.

“What do you mean?” Moore asked.

“It means that the Akuma that Allen was talking about is a total different thing. The Akuma that we said is a name of a weapon. Akuma is programmed to kill and humans are their targets. That is an Akuma. It is not like the one you read in a book or watch from a television.” I explained.

“In normal times, they would disguise themselves as humans. This makes it difficult to identify them.” Allen said.

Then, the door swung open and revealed a man. He was making uncomfortable noise.

“Brother Mark, what’s wrong?” Moore asked.

I took out my weapon and stood at my position. Allen activated his left eye and saw Akuma.

“I’m hungry. I want to kill you!!” Mark shouted in pain.

“Brother in law…What happened…?” Moore whispered.

He turned into a level 1 Akuma and Moore just kneeled there, paralyzed in fear. The Akuma started to shoot with its guns. I rushed forwards to block the attacks while Allen went and saved Moore. Allen grabbed Moore and jumped out of the house. I quickly blocked off the attacks and the house went crumbled down.

“Trinity!!” I heard Allen shouted.

“Don’t worry, I am fine.” I said while walking towards him and patted off the dust that was on me.

“Trinity, stop making me worried!!” He yelled furiously.

“I did not tell you to worry about me.” I stared at him.

I saw him caught the bullet that was shot by the Akuma. It was purple and it contained Akuma poison. Still, I would not be worried about Allen as he was a parasite-type Innocence. His body could neutralize the poison.

“Are you alright, Miss Moore?” Allen asked with concern.

“I am fine, don’t worry. Where are we?” She mumbled.

“We were blown to the church…” Allen said wearily.

“How did you… You caught the bullet!” Moore said while reaching out to touch the bullet.

“Don’t touch it.” I caught her hand.

“Yeah, it’s better that you don’t touch it. It contains Akuma poison. Akuma changed itself into a gun and shoot bullets. If you have been hit, the virus in the poison will quickly spread through your body. Then, you will be eroded away and turned into dust.” Allen said.

The cat got hit and its body had appeared pentagons. After that, the cat turned into dust. Moore looked at the cat frightfully.

“I’m sorry, I can’t save you.” Allen looked down and covered the dust with his outer clothing.

“You looked shock. It is no surprise that a normal human can see a body being eroded away. You have to get use it if you were living around Akumas.” I said unsympathetically while looking at Moore’s face.

“What happened to Brother Mark?” Moore asked.

Allen looked sympathetically at her and said, “Akuma possessed the body of a human and sneaked into the human society. The man is not Mr. Mark anymore. It is an Akuma that killed him and wore him as a disguise.”

“You’re saying that my brother in law was killed…?” Moore stunned.

“Allen, it is coming!” I signaled to him.

“I know.” Allen pulled Moore and hid her behind him.

Then, we heard somebody shouted.

“Hey, what are you doing here!?” It was the voice of the detective.

“Detective, what are you doing here?” Allen said in shock.

“What the hell is this!?” Detective shouted in disbelief, “Never mind! Whatever it is, just shoot it down!” The police started to shoot the Akuma.

“Bullets can’t kill it, just run!!” I shouted.

The Akuma turned around and shot them. Allen protected Moore and I looked back. The detective and his police force were gone. They were dead.

“Detective… Everyone… You damn devil, why did you kill them all, why!?” Moore shouted in anger.

“Miss Moore, no matter how many times you shout, he can’t hear you!” Allen said.

“This is not what I expected. That killing machine had evolved to a higher level. That’s just a killing machine!” Allen said and pointed towards the Akuma.

“A killing machine with a soul, a living killing machine” I said.

“The soul of the Akuma is being controlled by the ‘Manufacturer’. Using the power of what you feel when your love ones died, the power of your grief and hate for the sins you have done. What really stimulate the Akuma to evolve are the negative feelings in the soul. A soul is trapped in that Akuma. The soul is suffering in there.” Allen looked at the Akuma and continued, “It must be someone that is really close to him.”

Moore seemed to be convinced.

“Akuma is made up of [machine], a [soul] and the [feeling of grief]. Everyone has a dark spot in their hearts. When someone that you love die, that will trigger you to call back the dead, making the grief you feel deeper. At that moment, the ‘Manufacturer’ will appear. Mr. Mark must have been through a tragedy to trigger the appearance of the ‘Manufacturer’.” Allen said and looked at Moore.

“Tragedy…? My older sister, Crea, was a Sister in this church two years ago. Our parents died when we were little. Brother Mark was a Father in this church. He took us in and looked after us. My sister, Crea, fell in love with Mark and he fell in love with my sister too. Both of them got married and lived a happy life. One day, I quarreled with her about my job as a police woman.

Brother Mark went to talk to her about my job; she said that I was trying to nab the person that killed our parents. I want my sister to live a happy life without any worries. Brother Mark encouraged Crea and me. We should be living happily, yet something had to happen. That huge cross on top of the organ was free of its bonding and skewered on my sister. From that day onwards, Brother Mark had changed so much.” Moore believed sadly.

“The Father that cursed The God… The ‘Manufacturer’ should already appear at that time.” Allen supposed quietly.

“A Father…? I wondered that who can’t curse the God now… Then, the ‘Manufacturer’ emerged and asked Mark that did he want his wife to be revived. He would articulate something like, ‘If you want to see your beloved wife again, just call out her name and both of you will be together again.’ ” I believed pitilessly.

“How can that be…? Is that really my sister, Crea!?” Moore responded in fright and shock.

Moore kneeled down in disbelieve. Allen and I took a step forward. I took out my weapon and transformed into a scythe. Allen’s left arm was transformed into a huge white claw.

“The cross of the God in my hand will be destroying this darkness! Bring salvation to this poor soul!” Allen gathered his energy.

I dashed and slashed through the body and Allen slashed from top to bottom, both of us formed a cross and it screeched in pain.

“I am sorry… It must be really hurt but you will be happy after this.” Allen responded.

“Please rest in peace, Mrs. Crea… …” Allen and I said in unison.

The Akuma was destroyed and released Mrs. Crea. There was a smile on her beautiful face.

“Thank you…” We heard her voice.

Allen smiled and caught the ash that was left behind. I walked towards Moore and placed a hand on her shoulder. She looked up with her teary face. Allen smiled and sat beside Moore and I sat beside Allen. Moore hid her face in her arms with her knees in front of her chest. Moore was still crying silently.

“She has gone to heaven. My sister and Brother Mark have gone there together.” Moore murmured.

Allen looked to her and I gazed up the night sky.

“Yeah, both of them had gone back to heaven…” Allen comforted her.

“The Earl of Millennium is the name of the ‘Manufacturer’. He is playing a role of ‘Destroyer of God’. Stopping him is the mission of all Exorcists.” I said.

“Yes… All of the Exorcists…” Allen agreed.

Chapter 5: The Kiss

I remained silent and did not take notice that my tears started to flow. Allen reached up my cheek and wiped my tears away. He then kissed on my cheek. I went red in the face. I reached up and touched my cheek. I looked away.

~Allen~
I just kissed Trinity! What am I doing!? My body heat started to rise. I felt embarrassed and looked away. I held myself tightly and turned my head to look at her. Trinity was still looking away. Why did I do it!? Timcanpy landed on my head.

~Trinity~
Why did Allen do that for!? What was he thinking!? I did not want to grow close to him. I will hurt him one day. Both of us did not talk at all or looked at each other. Before we know it, we are already in London already. I stood up and went into the interior part of the carriage. I took my Lunar Deluder and placed it at the belt that I strapped around my right thigh. It can change into any weapon I want.

“Trinity, where are you going?” Allen asked.

“The Black Order. Do you want to come?” I answered.

“Yeah, let me tell the captain first.” Allen said.

Allen went to tell the captain and came back.

“Let’s go and Timcanpy come on!” Allen said.

Both of us hopped off of the carriage. We walked around to the town, but suddenly a fat white cat came and ate Timcanpy. Allen went to chase it and I had to follow him. We came across an old, wore down church.

Chapter 4: Black Order of The Past

On our way to the carriage, it was a hot afternoon. However, the cool wind of the north cooled everybody down and the animals seemed to enjoy it. Everything had been packed up and ready to go. Allen and I sat at the back of the carriage. I started to daydream while staring blankly at the dust that was stirred up by the wheel of the carriage.

“Trinity… Are you daydreaming again?” Allen heaved a sigh.

I was wearing a black full-length dress which showed my shoulder and it was a split skirt. The front of the skirt was shorter than the one at the back. I wore a pair of black leather boots. I let down my hair. My legs were hanging at the edge of the carriage. Allen sat down beside me. His legs were in the same position as mine and his hands were placing at the back. I was thinking about my past. The very first time that I went to the Black Order, it was located at the top of a mountain with a lot of little black bat-like things flying around all over it.

When I first arrived there, a black tower housed the Order and the gate was huge. However, there was a face in the middle of it. At that time, I was only 12. The gate popped out and stared at me with its huge eyes.

“X-Ray Body Check, starting scanning!!” It shouted.

“What the ---” I said unsteadily.

A pair of strong beam shot from its eyes to me. I rose up and protected myself from the beams. However, it was not harmful at all. It then suddenly stopped. I lowered my arms and trying to make out what was happening.

“Human. Clear.” It said.

The gates on the either side opened. I went in and felt the place was very disturbing and eerie. It was dark and gloomy. There were shadows moving in the presence of the dimly lit hallway. I assumed that it was people. The hallway was barely visible and the only light sources were the fire torches that were stuck on the walls.

It was so quiet and eerily calm. I could even hear my heartbeat and my own footsteps. I could feel that somebody or something was staring at me. A boy appeared. He was 3 years older than me. He had a head of red hair and a pair of bluish green eyes. He was wearing the uniform of the Order. The uniform was totally black, but at the left corner just above the chest, was the crest of the Order. The shims and buttons were either white or silver all around the sleeves and pockets.

“Hi, are you new?” He asked.

I nodded.

“Follow me.” He beckoned me to follow.

I hesitated for a moment and decided to follow him. I took a quick glance at his face and he looked attractive. Then, he turned and looked at me. His eyes were gorgeously beautiful and full of happiness.

“Is there something on my face?” He asked with a smile.

I shook my head and was blushing madly. I looked away and he laughed.

“My name is Lavi. Nice to meet you, what is your name?” He asked with an extending hand.

“Trinity.” I replied and took his hand.

He shook my hand and we went to wherever we are going now. Both of us came to an office. It was in a mess. The floor was completely covered in a sea of paperwork. There were about 10-15 people in the room. The cupboards of books had phones on it and it was very high that needed a ladder to reach the top.

“Help, help!! Somebody, please help me!!” I looked around the room and saw a hand sticking out of a pile of paperwork.

I pulled Lavi’s sleeves and pointed to the direction where the voice coming from. Lavi nodded and walked towards the person. Lavi exhaled noisily.

“Hoi… Komui, don’t you ever bother to clean up the office? You know that you’re the Supervisor.” Lavi said disapprovingly with his hands on his hips.

Lavi went forwards and hauled the person out. It was a man who was about in his mid-twenties. He patted the dust off of him, adjusted his glasses and looked at me. He had a head of black shoulder length hair and a pair of black eyes. He was a Chinese and his uniform was white.

“Who is the girl?” He asked.

“Oh, she is new here.” Lavi responded and the man nodded.

“What is your name?” He asked again.

“Trinity.” I said softly.

“Trinity. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Komui Lee.” He said with a smile.

“And he is the Supervisor here. Komui is the youngest Supervisor around here.” Lavi emphasized with a smile.

“Are you an orphan?” Komui asked.

“How can you ask her that?! She is just a little girl!!” Lavi shouted angrily while the others looked at Lavi, frighten.

I nodded.

“Do you have any relatives?” Komui asked again.

I remained quiet and felt Lavi held tightly around my shoulder. Komui was making Lavi very angry.

“What is your last name?” Komui asked without even looking at Lavi.

“Lock.” I answered.

“Captain Reever! Check that name!” Komui ordered.

“Yes sir.” A man said.

He started to type on the computer to search my last name. The computer was checking through every name. When it found my last name, the screen appeared ‘Found’.

“If any relative of yours is still alive, we can’t accept you.” Komui said heartless.

“She has an aunt and uncle in a faraway village.” Reever said.

“Lavi, bring her there.” Komui said emotionlessly.

I gripped and tugged on Lavi’s sleeves. He looked down and I shook my head vigorously. Lavi kneeled down and had a sad look on his face. He put his hand on my head and patted me.

“What’s wrong, Trinity?” Lavi asked worriedly.

“I… don’t want to… to go…” I sobbed.

“Why?” Lavi asked with concern.

“They will hurt me…” I answered miserably.

“Komui, do I have to do this?” Lavi’s eyes darkened.

“She still has living relatives, so she should go there.” Komui said unkindly.

“You did heard her said that they will hurt her!!” Lavi yelled furiously.

“She may be lying.” Komui said seriously.

“Trinity is only a child. She is as pure as Innocence!!” Lavi yelled.

“Take her there, Lavi. That is an order.” Komui said and walked away.

Lavi made an angry look and clutched his fist. He hesitated for a while. Everybody in that room looked at Lavi as if he is crazy. Lavi took my hand and brought me out of the office. He slammed the door. Then, I heard footsteps. It was Reever. He handed the map to Lavi and Lavi snatched it, leaving me behind. Reever scratched the back of his head and sighed. He pushed me forward, wanting me to follow Lavi. I looked at Reever and then, to Lavi. I ran towards Lavi and held his hand. He looked down and smiled at me.

Both of us took a train and went there. Lavi reserved a cabin and we sat down. It will be a two hours journey to reach our destination and my destiny. Lavi sat in front of me and talked about the Black Order. He started to scold Komui for two hours straight. I tried to calm him down but with no avail.

We reached our destination. We got off the train and walked through a thick forest. I was aware of that Lavi was walking very slowly. I wondered why. Both of us arrived at my relatives’ house according to the map. Lavi held my hand tightly. He went to knock the door. My aunt and uncle approached at the door. They looked disgust when they saw me. I hid behind Lavi.

“Is she your niece?” Lavi questioned.

“Yes, she is.” My uncle said with a hint of anger.

Lavi passed me to them. He kneeled down and kissed my forehead.

“Lavi…” I sobbed.

“Please take good care of her.” Lavi said.

“We will.” My aunt said.

“I promised that I’ll come back.” He whispered.

After that, he walked away. That was the last time I saw him. My nightmare started from the day Lavi left. My relatives abused me physically and mentally. It was like a living hell.

One day, my uncle tried to rape me but he accidentally ripped the cross off of my rosary. I transformed into a vampire and killed him without mercy. My aunt wanted to kill me as well, I killed her too. I took and placed the cross back to my rosary and changed back to my normal self. I took everything that they have and burnt them along with their house. I wondered around the world for three years. Then, I met Allen Walker.

“Trinity, what are you thinking now?” Allen asked.

I snapped back to reality.

“Nothing…” I said sadly.

“Trinity…” Allen whispered.

Chapter 3: The Present

Chapter 3: The Present

~Trinity~
I am 15 now. The picture of me meeting the Earl was an extraordinary experience. Now I am traveling around the world with a group of circus people. My nickname in the circus is Angel. I met a boy who was the same age as me. His name was Allen Walker, but I liked to call him Bean Sprout because of his white hair.

He had a pair of dark brown eyes and a head of shoulder length hair. He had a scar on his left eye which was a lightning strike with two strokes under his eye. Allen’s left arm was in blood red color and had a black cross on the back of his hand. It was wrinkled and dry. It was like it could crack anytime. ( - it looked as if it could crack anytime.)

Tonight, we were going to have a performance in a town that we are traveling to. I was staring at the dust that was stirred up by the carriage with a hand supporting my chin.

“Trinity, are you ready for your maiden performance?” Allen asked while sitting next to me.

I remained silent. Allen waved his hand in front of my face and snapped me out of my silence.

“No.” I answered frostily.

“Why?” Allen asked unhappily.

“I don’t want to perform. I hate it.” I responded.

“You don’t have to worry anything. I’m sure you will like it.” He said with a smile.

After the conversation, both of us stayed silent, as Allen knew my temper. Time flew past and we have reached the town during the night. I was watching at the night sky and thinking of my mother. I was still sitting in the carriage. Allen came and sat beside me.

“Trinity.” He started.

“Yes?” I asked.

“Why do you keep everything to yourself?” Allen asked glumly.

I remained silent.

“Hey Angel, Allen, the show is about to start! Go and get ready!” The captain shouted.

“We will!” Allen shouted and turned towards me.

“Trinity, just try to loosen up a bit.” He smiled.

“Alright… I’ll try…” I answered with a sigh.

“Great! Let’s get ready!” Allen said happily.

Allen jumped out the carriage and held up his hand for me. He smiled. I stared at it and hopped off by myself. I walked away, leaving Allen behind.

~Allen~
Trinity was cold. May be her past still haunts her. Maybe ( ; maybe) time could not heal her wounds. I did not know what happened to her in the past, but I really wish (wished) that Trinity could just open up. Her eyes were emotionless and (with) a hint of sadness. I ran to catch up with her.

~Trinity~
I walked towards the backstage and spread my wings.

“Trinity, go for it!” Allen gave me a thumb-up.

I sighed and nodded. There were drums roaring, the audiences were clapping and cheering. Music started to play. The lime lights were switched on and there was where the captain stood.

“Welcome! Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls! Thank you for coming here to watch the show! Let me introduce you a new member of our family! Angel!” The captain shouted with pride.

I stepped out and stood in the middle of the stage. The music started to roar loudly. I flew over the audiences’ seats.

“Wow!! Mommy, look!! An angel, a real angel!!” A little girl pointed at me with enthusiasm.

I flew towards and landed in front of her.

“Can you fly me around?” The little girl asked innocently.

“Alice! You can’t just ---” Her mother said.

“It’s ok…” I interrupted.

I carried and held her tight. The caption motioned all the audiences to go outside. The people went outside. I flew outside of the stage and up to the sky. The more I flew up, the smaller the people get.

“Wow! I never thought the whole town looked so beautiful from the sky.” Alice said joyously.

I stayed quiet.

“What’s wrong, Angel?” She asked sadly.

“Nothing… It just that you looked so happy with your mother when you were sitting at the audiences’ seats…” I answered.

“Yep, my mommy loves me a lot. She does a lot of things for me… Then, Angel, where is your mommy?” Alice asked.

“She is in heaven now…” I answered dolefully.

“Oh… I am sorry…” She whispered sadly.

“It’s ok. At least I know that she is happy over there.” I said with a hint of happiness.

“Do you love her?” Alice asked while looking at me.

“Yes, I do.” I replied.

Then, Alice was yawning.

“Can I sleep in your arms, Angel?” Alice asked groggily.

I looked at her and nodded. I slowing flew down and descended on the ground. Alice slept peacefully in my arms. However, her heartbeat was shallow. She was dying and I rushed towards her mother. I handed Alice to her mother, but she had a peaceful smile just like my mother. Alice’s mother placed Alice in her arms. She was dead, but it was a peaceful one.

“Why didn’t you ---” I started.

“She had an illness that can’t be cured and the doctor said that she could not live till tomorrow.” Her mother said mournfully.

Her eyes were full of grief and sorrow. She cried and kneeled on the ground. Then, she continued.

“She heard that a circus is coming to town and she wanted to watch it before she dies. So, I brought her here for the last time. Alice wanted to see an angel but I told her that it is impossible. However, her wish did come true. You are the angel that made her wish came true.” She choked with both sadness and happiness.

“Do not cry for her.” I said.

Alice’s mother looked up. I kneeled down and placed my hands on her shoulders.

“Look at her now. She is happy and you are the one who made her wish come true. If you did not bring her here, she might never see me. Alice is in heaven now and I don’t think that she want to see you cry. She loves you more than anyone else.” I replied.

“You’re right… Angel, I shouldn’t cry…” She smiled.

“Live your life for yourself and most importantly, for Alice.” I said while standing up.

Alice’s mother stood up and walked away. She took one last glance and smiled while carrying Alice away. Finally, she disappeared into the crowd. After a few hours, I sat at the back of the carriage and stared at the stars. The show was over. Death is a beautiful thing; everything in this world has its own way of working. That was what my mother taught me.

“Trinity.” I looked up and saw Allen.

“Yes?” I asked.

“You really can bring happiness to everyone, don’t you?” He said.

“Not really.” I responded.

“I envy you. My arm was borne to be blood red and looked fragile. With this black cross, it is like a sunken wound. My real parents abandoned me because of this arm, because I am a freak. However, I met Mana Walker, my foster father. He took care of me like his own.” Allen’s eyes were brimming with tears.

“At least you have somebody to care for you.” I said.

“Yeah…” He agreed.

“What happened to him?” I asked curiously.

“He died. Then, I feel lost and lonely. I never felt this way before. At that moment, the Earl of Millennium came. He said that he could bring Mana back. In the end, Mana became an Akuma because of me. Mana was very angry and left a curse on my left eye. Then, suddenly my left arm turned into an anti-akuma weapon. It can move by itself and it was trying to kill Mana. I wanted to stop but I just can’t.” Allen said miserably.

“However, Mana let me kill him and his last words were ‘I Love You’. Then, I understood that the tears of an Akuma were not anger, but the love for those who turned them into Akuma. Mana told me that not to stop walking, fight for those I love and care.” He finally could not hold on and cried silently.

I was a little surprised. I placed my hand to comfort him. He looked up and I saw the scar on his left eye. I beamed a small smile and looked away.

~Allen~
Trinity smiled. Am I imagining things? In spite of this, I could felt that Trinity was comforting me by having her hand on my shoulder. I felt happy for somebody to understand.

~Trinity~
“Let me said something that might amuse you.” I started and Allen looked up while I removed my hand off of his shoulder.

“I met the Earl before.”

Allen looked at me and anxiously wanting to know what happened.

“Yet I can’t tell you what happened between him and me. What does your left eye do?” I questioned.

Allen looked at me disapprovingly and answered, “I can see the world of both darkness and light, which means I can see Akuma with my left eye and exorcise them.”

“Are you going to the Black Order?” He asked.

“I guess.” I answered.

“Please come, we can fight the Earl together.” Allen said with a smile and clutched his hand.

“We’ll see.” I replied while I gazed up to the night sky.

Allen followed my gaze.

“Let’s get some shut eye; I am pretty tired for today…” I yawned.

“Yeah… Me too…” Allen yawned.

We went into the carriage and slept soundly. Morning arrived. Sun shone through the windows and on my face. I blinked my eyes and sat up while rubbing my eyes. I turned and saw Allen was still sleeping. I smiled and walked away to do my daily routine. I went to eat my breakfast and bought a lot for Allen. I placed it beside him.

Then, I heard the captain called my name, “Trinity!!”

I left the carriage and walked towards him.

“What?” I grumbled.

“Can you go and buy some supplies?” He asked.

“Alright…” I heaved a sigh.

I went to the town and brought the supplies. At that moment, people started to crowd around me.

~Allen~
I woke up and sun rays shone onto me. I sat up and saw Trinity had already wake up. She had prepared the food for me and it was still hot. I went to do my daily routine and ate the breakfast. I got changed and went out to search for Trinity. I saw the captain.

“Captain, did you see Trinity?” I asked.

“Oh, I asked her to go to buy some supplies.” He answered.

“Ok.” I walked away.

“Allen!! Remember to be hurry. Otherwise, I am going to leave you guys behind.” The captain smiled.

“Alright, I will.” I shouted back.

I went to the town and search for Trinity. I did not know why I feel so close with her. May be she had the same experience like me. At the corner of my eye, I saw a crowd. I ran towards it.

~Trinity~
“Why am I always the one who get surrounded by people?” I grumbled silently.

“We are your fans, Angel!!” A man said happily while waving his arms.

“Ok…” I heaved a sigh.

“Can I have your autograph, Angel?” A little girl asked softly.

“Um… Sure…” I agreed.

She gave me a board and a marker. I signed for her and handed the board to her. I glanced at the clock tower and knew that I was late.

“I have to go now.” I said.

“Then, will you come back?” The little girl asked.

“I don’t know when I will be back but I will come back one day.” I placed my hand on her elfin head.

“Really, you promised?” She asked innocently.

“Yes.” I replied.

“Trinity!”

I turned around and saw Allen running towards me.

“Bean Sprout, what are you doing here?” I said confusedly.

“We have to go now. Otherwise, our captain is going to leave us behind and don’t call me that!!” He said angrily.

“Alright, I will make it fast.” I nodded.

I turned around and faced the crowd.

“This is goodbye.” I said.

“Take good care of yourself.” Alice’s mother said.

“I will.” I replied.

I turned and walked towards Allen.

“Wait, Angel!!” The little girl shouted.

The girl ran towards me and handed me a beautiful red rose.

“This is for you.” She smiled.

“Thank you.” I said.

I took it and admired its beauty.

“I know that the rose will die, but its spirit never will.” Her smile is so peaceful.

“Thanks again, everyone.” I replied.

“Let’s go.” Allen said.

“Yeah, let’s go.” I agreed.

We walked away. The crowd shouted and waved, “Take good care of yourself!! Good luck!!”

Chapter 2: The Earl of Millennium

~Trinity~
I stayed with my mother till the night came. It was pouring heavily that night - everything seemed so perfect for death. I sniveled in front of my mother’s grave. How I desire that I could be with her now. I kept questioning myself why this must happen to me. My mother’s words kept ringing in my mind.

“Protect those you love…” Those were her last words.

All the things that my mother taught just ran across my mind, I was so confused. My heart was full of hurt and grief. I could not hear anything at all. The ravens on the dead trees sang a mournful and grief-stricken song. At that moment, a stranger approached. He had an oversized white suit over his abnormally large body, a wide grin on his pale face which looked sinister under his huge hat. He also held a queer-looking parasol.

The parasol was small and had a pumpkin on the handle. It was jumping towards me. I could not feel anything at all. I felt neither fearful nor terrified about it. I turned and looked intently at the man and his umbrella soullessly. The grin on the man’s face was made up. I did not think a person would just smile in a cemetery. I detested it.

“Look, Master! I told you that she will be here. Relo~” The parasol said while jumping up and down.

“Shh… Don’t bother her…” The man said sorrowfully but his tone did not reach his eyes.

I knew that he was bluffing and acting sympathy. My eyes were dark and full of sadness.

“Who are you?” My voice was barely more than a mere whisper.

“My apologizes, I’m the Earl of Millennium.” He said with a bow.

I remained silent.

“You may be wondering what I want from you, aren’t you?” The Earl asked.

“My master wants you to join him to destroy the world.” The parasol interrupted.

“Don’t interrupt when I was going to talk.” The Earl smiled evilly.

“Sorry… Sorry… Master… Relo~”

“Now where were we? Ah yes… Care to join the Noah and me? I wondered if you have heard of them.”

“I’m sorry. I am not interested.” I replied coldly.

“What the ---!” The parasol said angrily.

“Now, now, you are the special one.” The Earl said with his head tilted to one side.

I stood up and asked.

“How special am I?”

“You are born to be an akuma and you have the power to control them. Don’t you want power? I can give you as much as you want, as long as you choose to join me.” The Earl said.

“Akuma… It is created from the grief of the weak hearted and the soul of their love ones.” I said plainly.

The parasol was jumping up and down anxiously.

“Stop asking questions! Just say yes or no or you will be dead! Relo~” The umbrella yelled crossly.

“Akuma… I am an Akuma…” I said emotionlessly.

“Yes. So, what is your choice?” The Earl asked.

“Sorry. I’m still not interested.” I responded.

I walked away.

“Hey you, stop!” I heard the umbrella shouted.

“Don’t worry. She will join us one day.” The Earl said and looked at the grave.

Chapter 1: The Prologue

The past of a girl was one sad and depressing tragedy. During her fifth birthday, her father suddenly went berserk and wanted to kill her. Her mother used herself as a human shield and defended the girl from being killed.

“Protect those you love…… “ were the last words from the girl’s mother.

Even after taking the life of her mother, her father still wanted to taste his own daughter’s blood. As the girl was born under generations of assassins, the girl knew how to kill without any mercy. She quickly seized a gun from the cabinet that was the nearest to her and swiftly moved to the side.

She shot her father till his last breath but he left a huge cross-shaped scar under/above her right eye. The girl never loved her father as he was a selfish husband and an unloving father.

Family members of her father came to the scene. The girl told them that her father killed his own wife. However, they did not ask how he died. The family members seemed to happy as they lost one person to separate the fortune.

On the day itself, the girl’s aunts and uncles arranged a simple burial for her mother, as for the father of the girl; he was buried in the Lock cemetery. All of the family members were rich, but when it came of spending money for the girl or her mother, they would think it was a waste of time.

All of them never cared about the girl or her mother. This girl was born in the Lock Clan, the clan of elite assassins whom excelled in all kinds of weapons. She was born at midnight and the twelfth child in the whole clan. She was the special one. Unlike her cousins, she was not a killing machine or a killing puppet. She had feelings like you and I. Her mother was not from the clan-she was an outcast. Her mother taught the girl a lot of things that she could learn without visiting the outside world.

The girl loved her mother very much as she was like her friend, her sister. Other children were banned from playing with the children who were in the Lock Clan, but the girl was unique as other children accepted her as a friend. However, she left them in the end. Since her cousins were killing her friends just because they were friends and in order to save them, she had to pretend to be cold and bloodthirsty to make them stay away from her.

Her mother gave her a rosary which consists of a leather choker and a medium-sized cross. A magical blood red jewel was positioned in the middle of the cross, with chains and pearls to secure it.

The girl had a beautiful face. Her nationality was unknown as she was a Eurasian, which explained why her eyes were odd. Her eyes were deep azure on the left and emerald in her right eye with a cross within her pupil. Her black hair with red and silver streaks was long past her bottom. She wore a mask that did not have eyeholes which covered her eyes. A huge cross-shaped scar stretched across her right eye.

The girl was a hybrid of vampire and a fallen angel. The purpose of the rosary was to control the girl’s power and to lock her vampire self within. She was born blind, but she could still see with the power of her heart and she could see an Akuma just like her friend, Allen Walker. She could even hide her true identity and pass as a human.

A curse was placed upon her by her father, in which chains would wrap her heart tightly when she kills Akumas. She had the ability to transform her right arm into any forms of weapon. She had two Innocence – one in her right whiles the other in the weapon which named Lunar Deluder and it can be size-shifting.

The girl was me, Trinity Lock.
